McCloskey's promoter Barry Hearn interviewed
said he is complaining to the British boxing board
says he was robbed by an inept ref - "the ineptitude of the referee was staggering"

I guess he wanted the opportunity to lose 12 to zero

I am no boxing expert...........but that was not a bad cut.

We Canucks play hockey at birth....if any kid stopped playing hockey with a cut like that he would be shot and killed.

Just sayin'

That being said............WINNER:00hour

McCloskey interviewed
says Amir was tiring
"at the weigh in he was pale as a ghost. He was fading. He was tired. I was getting stronger. I was coming on"

"The fight was even. I want a rematch"

:142smilie :142smilie :142smilie :142smilie

Wow. McCloskey has one quality a lot of boxing champs share. Delusion.

I'm sure the networks that paid for this are going to sign up for a rematch right away.

Bullshit stoppage no question.

Kahn was clearly winning, so just let him fight it out. It just makes it seem shady, like they were looking for a back end win.

I've seen fighters with worse cuts allowed to continue. Weepaul I think, was right, it wasn't even bleeding! Let it go, and pay attention to the cut...geez.

I don't think McC was outclassed. Kahn didn't seem to be getting tired, but he was expending a lot of energy, and missing with a lot of shots.

Frank's post caused me to hedge my McC dog play with the under, so a scratch there...even if I did back into it.

Take it anyway you can get it Kick!

Best fight of the weekend that no one's talking about. What do you think, John 5 or 6 to 1?

Having a pretty good week. Don't want to give back nice profits so buying back much of Berto wager and had to kick in on the draw...berto wager @euro book so a draw loses. I still think Berto takes it but have to play it smart and preserve the winnings. Should Salido pull off the huge upset, would be icing on the cake but little harm done if he doesn't. Nice to be in this spot :0074. Good luck tonight gents and enjoy the fights!
