Shocker - Duddy lost. Unbelievable. But I liked Rosado and I'm pissed there was no line on that.

You know,I looked at this and thought Duddy was soft looking ( and Lyell was in very good shape) and then proceeded to forget about it.

Duddy obviously thought all he had to do was show up to win.

I never would have bet a cent on Billy Lyell
but, like you Kramden, I am furious there was no Ouma line.

We were all over that one.....easy call.

A good night overall with the LARGE wins on TOS Williamson and Jacobs UNDER 6.5

MEDIUM win on the Alexander UNDER 9.5

MEDIUM loss for me on Latimore, but I'm glad the board benefited from Spinks

Everybody made money....let's keep it rolling
The doggy Edren Dapudong fights overnight in the Philipinnes...would LOVE that to hit

back later with picks for tomorrow

Night of upsets in Newark

Night of upsets in Newark

Unreal that Billy Lydell won! I watched Lydell fight David "The Destroyer" Lopez and he looked completely outclassed in a tko5 loss. Obviously, Lopez is a better fight than Duddy, but Duddy is decent enough to beat Lydell (I thought).

Man the line was -6000 Duddy and +2000 Lydell.
I didn't even give it a second look. Oh well, it was a great night for the unders and I can't complain at all.

Cheers!
Good Luck Tomorrow

I have Strum v. Sato Under 9.5 -135 Medium
and Green v. De Leon Jr. Under 8.5 -115 Large
JUAN MANUEL LOPEZ -150 ITD- Large

I hope the unders continue.

I was lucky -> small bet on Billy Lyell at +2200 :00hour

Hey that is awesome. Good for you LordoftheLunch! Just curious why you bet it besides the great price? Did you not like how Duddy looked in his in recent fights? or Maybe Lydell being in such great shape at his weigh-in photos? or Maybe Billy Lydell looked competive against Vanes Martirosyan in his last fight?

What was your secret oh master of long shots?

pure luck...

I like to bet small amounts on very high quotes as long as it is a "value" bet. At +2200 I just could not resist.

The other bets went very well too.
I had a bigger on:
Jose Varela/Daniel Jacobs Under 6?

But be aware I am not a specialist on boxing.
I like betting and sometimes I am lucky, but in general I listen to advice of someone I know very well that is a expert at boxing -> if I win some money in general he deserves the honor!
(ok maybe not for the Billy Lyell bet but as I mentioned I was lucky) =)

Cheers

Nice job getting the Green under opener, -115 is a great line. I expect it to hit, both guys seem to be looking to make a statement on TV, both confident in the knockout.

My money is on Taylor tonight.
Froch could not make a dent in Pascal and I think Pascal has a bad chin.
I hate to say this but a lot of hyped British boxers tend to get their arses handed to them when they step up in class against U.S fighters.

I also have a bet on White at +400.
Guinn tends to lose to shitty fighters.

Good luck all. :toast: :toast: :toast:

Here is the only photo I can find of Johnnie White. He fights out of Lousiana in the States. He is the one throwing the jab.

That's enough for me...

Looks can be deceiving...Golovkin looks like Austin Powers w/out all the hair on his chest. I still expect him to stop the bloody yank.

Good luck on Dap...looks like you guys hit it.
