Good summation Ghost. Excellent week and after adding up the totals, it was even better than I thought. My only regret was not placing another buck on Reyes. I thought the over was a good bet and the only way it wasn't going to hit was if Diaz got stopped. Reyes has a good beard and good defense so should have covered my bases a little more there. Surprised it wasn't one of Evans picks. I'm sure he's kicking himself over that one. He lost on the week and that doggy alone would have made it a winning one. The Esco fight was fcking draining on me. Having the guy down twice and letting him crawl back into the fight. The announcers had that closer than what it was so their call had me a bit nervous when Hern somehow took the last rd despite having no legs left. I was reluctant to bet Val straight up then thought NO WAY in hell he loses to a 39 yr old fighter. I closed my computer after your 1st rd update on Brad. Thought another great week was going down in flames. We finally caught a break and a much deserved one at that. That was CLEARLY Bradleys fight. Great job Madjackers! :toast: :toast: :toast:

Finally, Tim Bradley. MY MAN ! What determination. Desire. Grit. What a WARRIOR. What this guy likes in punch and size, he makes up for in technique, brain power, and BALLS. HUGE BALLS. That first round knockdown would have stopped 90 percent of the fighters in the world. I loved it when he took that knee (to further gather himself). Round 2 he fought back hard. And by the end of 3 he was in control of the fight. What a performance. Simply outfighting and outsmarting Holt. As most of us thought, the sturdier, steadier guy won out.

!

I watch about five rounds of this fight and couldn't watch it anymore. I didn't have a wager on it but to see a guy get floored like this and then watching his opponent losing the next two rounds because of complete inactivity, made me just want to puke. I could just see it was one of those fights that would go this way the rest of the night. Remind me of Bhop against Taylor and Calzaghe until he found the fountain of youth (against Pavlik)and realize throwing five punches a round can't win anything. First time i saw Holt fight. Is he known to be brain dead?

Sponge,

I thought it was Holts fight to win or lose. He had the physical tools and didn't use them. His jab was punishing and moved Brad back several times WHEN he decided to use it. Bradley still out jabbed him. Bradley got smashed by the left hook in rd one and Holt didn't go after him. The guy kind of reminds me of nate campbell...all the tools one could ask for but not the mental fortitude to be an exceptional fighter. As good and tough as Bradley fought, he was also exposed a little bit. The guy is vulnerable. His heart and desire won him the fight more than anything. I wouldn't wager that much on him again against a rangy puncher like Holt. That being said, we knew going in that Holt wasn't strong mentally and he had a history of mental lapses.
