I'm betting 3 big underdogs this week-

Mosley to beat May. The guys who give Money trouble are guys with speed like Judah.
Mosley might not be as fast as Judah these day's but Money won't have the luxury of waiting 4 rounds for Shane to wear down or to wait on his fighting spirit leaving.
Shane will be there all night and will force May to fight.
This is a tough fight for May!!!
I hope Mosley knocks him on his arse but I think May wins a hard fight on points.

Minto to beat Huck. Huck wears down late in fights and Minto is used to fighting bigger guys and has come up strong in some slugfests (The Maddelone fights come to mind).
This might be no easy task for Huck.

Lock to beat Ponce DeLeon. Ponce has looked like dogshit since moving up to Feather. He does not seem to have such a killer punch at that weight.
Lock is fast enough to give Ponce real trouble IF he does not wear down as the rounds go by.
I think he could be beating Ponce to the punch for a while. Worth a tickle at +500.

Good luck lads!!! :toast: :toast: :toast:

Welcome back Frankie :)

hmmmm?...lock at +500?...

Just so you guys know, the Tropicana has constructed a "Pavilion". Basically a cinder block metal roofed building with half actual seats with backs and half freakin BLEACHER seats!!! I'd say a low rent operation; but ok if there is a fight you MUST see. Guerrero had some rust he had to shake but he is still fundamentally sound. Lots of hot chippies dancing around all nite though; the famous "Trop girls". Whoo-hoo.

Did you notice that Money was wearing shoes during the weigh-in!?

I thought he would and wathing the weigh in just confirmed it.

Apparantly there is still some controversy about the gloves that will be used.

Money wants 10 oz grant, Mosley wants 8 oz Reyes....that makes a heck of a difference.

I guess they will end up using Grant, not sure which size though...

As I stated earlier, my main bet this week will be Floyd/Mosley over 8, 9 , 9.5....

well, Lord and I have basically the same bets.

I guess Mosley can get to Floyd a bit in the early rounds, so I figured Mosley leads after 3, Leader after 3 rounds and Mosley +1.5 after 3 has some value!

Mosley looked terrific in his last fight, and Money is not unbeatable.
I thought Castillo won the first fight and while I dont think that Oscar won against Money he looked very competetive before running out of gas in the last rounds, and Oscar was already past his best at that time...

Anyways, I guess he gets Mosley at the right time...

minto looks like shit...no snap on his punches...he looks like a middleweight....

huck`s chin way up in the air...throwing uppercuts from outside...and all minto can do is punch him in the side in a clinch....

minto looks like a pug...

-1150 was dead on...lol

I didnt exactly expect Minto to win but I did think he would at least attend the show and put up a fight. I expected to be a bit entertained for the buck I threw on him. +900 turned out to be a sucker bet.

edit: my bad...I guess Minto gave his all and nobody can ask for more than that. I hope he calls it a day after today's bludgeoning.

I see a lot of people on locke. If he wins do you see it happening by knockout? I saw some pretty good odds for him to win by k.o.

i had a throwaway on minto at +850...but i didn`t expect it to be such a futile effort....

not that minto didn`t try...i guess he did...but it looked like a 5 year old trying to fight his 10 year old brother...he was slow..wide punches that were thrown around huck`s gloves....

huck was economical with his punches...but he rarely missed...everything seemed to affect minto...particularly the 3 cuffing shots behind the ear that put him on the canvas...

he tried to work huck`s body but he had absolutely no snap on anything he threw...he threw punches like a sparring partner...

minto fought effectively at heavy?....and looked like a journeyman middleweight at cruiser...

go figure...

i had no problem with minto quitting after the 9th...it was an exercise in futility...

this reminds me of the article i posted previously about guys fighting at higher weights then dropping weight...

seldom seems to end well...

I'm on Mosley. Betting with my heart and I think odds are absurd. I got him at +470. Also took props that Mosley won't suffer knockdown at -150. Unbelievable odds you can find on those exchange books. Also took over 7 at -450 and have a lot on Alvarez and a little on Saldivia.
Good luck gents!!!

Ghost Kid- where u at?

My personal opinion BBB
is that Mayweather is not worth the price at 4 to 1
Romi and Brainiac both goth this early and have wonderful numbers
around -200
That is a GREAT price but now its out of hand
I think May wins UD tonight, but there are better picks at 4 to 1

LOVE the Mosley wont suffer knockdown price that old dirty got...LOVE IT
Shane has one of the best chins ever at welter
May can't KO him in my opinion

My one bet tonight is a parlay:
NOT Mayweather ITD to Saul Alvarez ITD

Good luck guys
:toast:

Eloy Perez fighting on the undercard in a few miinutes

I'm with you on the insane Mosley odds ;) . May might be good at everything but he is very economical and tends to throw one shot at a time. He has trouble with speed and Mosley will force him to fight.
Mosley can still whack to the body and I have yet to see Money hit hard there.
I alway's believe great fighters have one great fight left in them. I think and hope this is Shane's.

The oods you got on Mosley not getting knocked down are insane.
May IS NOT decking Mosley unless the ref fucks up ala Hagler-Roldan.

i think mosely has to force mayweather to fight outside his comfort zone...bully him and make him exchange or move...

cause mayweather doesn`t really like to move his feet all that much..like castillo I...

mayweather is more apt to lay on the ropes than use footwork......he just stands in the pocket and his speed makes guys hesitant to let loose...

shane has to make it ugly...he`s definitely the stronger guy here...

but he is 38...

Agreed Paulie. Mayweather WILL NOT stop Shane. No way. Only way he gets a knockdown is a ref screwup, a slip, etc.
great value old dirty !
