yep good fight. Both guys have good eyes.
Edwards sees the shots coming very good.Very hard to knock those boxers out.
Johnsonwins this via dec if hefights cool and controlled. If he forces the stoppage Edwards is dangerous with counters.

very good results today guys
all favorites won on shobox and prizefighter
tomorrow I'm not sure that will be the case

Here are my thoughts:

In the afternoon, I think Huck KOs Minto late. BUT I think the line is off and I put 50 bucks on Minto at +900. Maybe he can land a lucky one. When Huck wins though, he has to step it up. Swamp Donkey and Minto back to back is not good. :mj07:

Like most, I think Floyd beats Shane by decision. Shane is a great fighter and I think he will make it an interesting fight, but I think Mayweather will win.

The undercard features Saldivia, Ponce, and Alvarez.

Push comes to shove, I think all 3 of these Golden Boy prospects win, but I don't blame Quanah and Weepaul for backing Ouali and Lock, respectively.

We don't know much about Saldivia. If he is as good as advertised, he will KO Ouali, who is not much more than a sparring partner. But if Saldivia fights like that other Argentine bum Abregu, than I give Ouali a good chance. Just no footage around to know what we got here.

My only worry with Lock is he took a horrible beating from Escalante. Not sure what he has left. But he has height and reach on Ponce, and like wee said, Ponce is not as overpowering at this weight. Interesting fight. Lock has an outside chance.

Alvarez, to me, is the easiest winner. He is fighting a guy who wasn't even very good at 135. And now at 149? WTF!
Also I just realized Cotto is trained by that same idiot who trained his brother to fight Pac - Jorge Santiago. This guy is the loud mouth who got in Roach's face after the weigh in. And he was at it again yesterday, screaming at Golden Boy and telling Schaefer he was going to put him out of business. Whatever. This guy is a moron and Cotto is going to get rocked. Alvarez will stop him, I just don't know when. Hopefully, for the madjackers, before 7.5.

Good luck crew - big big fight tomorrow night!

Just watched the fight. Scores were attrocious. I think Adama won at least 5 rds. IMO rd 7 was the only clear cut rd for George. He got a lot of boos in his own town. I made 5 bucks on it but I dodged a bullet. Of course I don't place the bet on the hyped kid if it's not in his hometown. Da Bomb showed some grit and raw power but he gets bombed v a solid contender.

Alvarez is a fan friendly fighter. He already has some good experience as a pro. He measures his range well in order to get full power on his shots. He throws combination punches from all angles and has great instincts to recognize when his opponents hurt. In other words, Saul is a natural born killer in the ring and when he smells blood, he goes for the KO. IMO, he is the goods and at 19 he is only going to get better. In the press conference, Cotto's body langange was of a man that already looked defeated and he even hinted an excuse for losing by saying he was fighting at Alverez's weight not his. Today's weigh in photos show a trim and ready welterweight on the come up vs. a soft, once-retired lightweight on the comeback trail. I see Alvarez teeing off on Cotto for 4-6 rounds until the ref mercifully stops the contest. :box2:

Good Luck tomorrow guys!:D
