Adding a small hedge/middle...

As posted, I have 2.0 to win 1.75 on the Sarritzu Over 9.5...

thegreek now has Under 10.5 +320, so I'm laying off .40 to win 1.3, now risking .70 to win 1.35 on the Over 9.5 with a chance to hit everything

I played Sarritzu early at -225, now +245 is available on the other side, I'll stay put for now but if the line continues to move it might force me to take the free money

Good man Box.

There is no better feeling in gambling than being able to hedge and cover or win big due to smart thinking in past plays.

Good luck.

Thanks weepaul...

You're a class act and a very valuable part of this forum. We might disagree on the Arthur O/U, but it doesn't change my opinion of you, and it shouldn't change your opinion of me

We are all going to disagree on some points but I value all the opinions on this board. There are a lot of smart boxing guys here.

I am stubborn and bet who I want but I don't get a warm, fuzzy feeling when I notice certain Cappers on the other side from me. It tends to make me a lot more cautious on my amounts.

Good luck all.

My plays for the week - up to this point:

Munroe over 9 1.5
Fight ends in UD 2.1

Very dissapointing loss last week, I thought Sergei would win a UD, but hopefully it will hit this time...

Sarritzu 1.45

over 8 1.25

Thanks boxlox for pointing out this one. :)
You can still get 1.45 at bwin and gamebookers, still waiting for the fightwriter to cover this fight.

I also have some minor / value bets on Napa Ko late, Arslan over 9, Dirrell...

As for the Oscar fight, I'm a little surprised that this fight doesnt get any attention.

I have not been impressed by oscar recently, but the size difference and perhaps more importantly the promotion are huge factors for oscar in this fight.

My personal opinion Oscar wins an unimpressive decision.

Two lines at bodog jumped out to me

Under 6.5 +750
Oscar tends to fade, so if he doesnt stop him until then, he might not stop him at all.
The line ist plain out to high, much higher than at 5dimes.

Leader after 3 rounds loses or draws +600
In 3 rounds anything can happen.
Lederman can be very unpredictable.

I have been making a lot of profit with those props at bodog.
As unlikely as it is that either will hit, I just cannot pass on those odds...

If it wasnt for the promotion I might take a shot at Forbes by decision, I put a few bucks on sturm back then....

Sweden
Hanshaw
Dirrell was fighting scared versus Stevens. Hanshaw will do better than Stevens, and he is the promoter's fighter. That's enough for me at +112 (pinnacle)

Dimitrenko - Rossy under 10
Rossy did box versus Mercer, but my guess is that Rossy has to take it to Dimitrenko. I can see both fighters mixing it up. I'm on under 10 rounds at -105 (bwin)

Gonzo hit. -290 seemed like a gift and I had quite a bit riding on that obscure fight. That line moved to -600 @ the greek. Looking for munroe to go rds tonight to hit the over. I'm considering saritzu tomorrow. Haven't heard much of anything on that one except what I've read in here. Fightnews alluded to the 1st one being a controversial draw, implying saritzu got hosed. Gl everybody.

Lost the Munroe over. Appears his opponent wasn't much prepared for the fight and it ended in the 7th...corner stoppage. That fcked up what WAS a good week. It's been a hell of a run over 5 weeks so no complaints here. I'm now down a few this wk bucks but not a big deal.

I hate like hell to give incorrect information and apparently I may have on the 1st Saritsu/Inom fight. I thought that fightnews was implying saritsu got hosed but according to Graham it appears Inom may have gotten hosed in the 1st go. I'm going to stay away from this one.

I read that as well, but he said the hometown crowd thought Inom deserved to win, which is no surprise. Graham thought it was very close with Inom finishing stronger. Also said Sarritzu may have overlooked Inom the first time and now knows what to expect, predicts a decision win for Sarritzu with the hometown factor being the kicker. Sarritzu should be in better shape and will be more comfortable at home, but Graham is probably right about it being a close fight. I'll take the hometown guy here thinking a draw is the worst possible outcome given the location and promotion.

Still love the Over 9.5 as Sarritzu will look to box and steal rounds knowing the deck is stacked in his favor

Good luck that one Romi- I was just about to hit it at -300, then I blink and it's -400 , damn you, King Over.

I like the one Box just posted Dimitrenko under 9.5, I've gone small but will probably upgrade to medium .

I saw value in Maldonado lasting over 8.5 rounds at +210, but that value has slipped a bit. Bookmaker has it over 7.5 rounds that started +200 but anything +150 or higher I think is good.

Maldonado has been stopped twice in the 8th round at 112 pounds, but Donaire and Darchinyan can really fricken crack. Donaire cut him bad early and was bombing the heck out of him till he finally broke him down. Slight concern that Maldo has over 40 fights with some punishment and is hitting an older age (30) for that weight class. If for some reason Monitel is fired up and bombs away up and down, the wager could be in trouble but of Montiels last 7 fights, only the last one when he was fired up at the MGM on the faded Castillo would have gone under 8.5 and Maldonado is as tough and competent as those fighters.. Over 7.5 rounds at 1% of bankroll.

"King Over" is going to start looking at the unders a little closer. Having my worst week in about 3 mnths. Not devastating but my nice streak came to a crashing halt in the last 7 hrs. I pretty much chased the munroe over loss by taking the over on demarco a few hrs b4 fight time. Not sweating it in the least. Congrats to all that wagered Direll!
