I'm absolutely shocked, not to mention pissed...

:mj12:Sarritzu

Well, here's a pick me up for all of us. Dimitrenko gets in done in the 5th- I saw RBR in Eastside. They continue to say German is dirty as hell behind head shots- but he we got paid. Congrats!!!!!!!!l

I heard Jenson got KO'd in the first in France...didn't seem like anyone was on him which was good. Overs got fricken killed this week!

I hit the Dimentrenco under for 3 hund. I mentioned the venue helped that bet and it did according to some who felt it was an early stoppage.

I'm on the over for Montiel/Maldo...pure speculation and value wager. The speculation is that maldo will be a little stronger at 115 and the value is +145 7 1/2. I agree the extra rd is more than worth the 20.00. IF that one hits then I might put a few bucks on the under for DLH.

BTW, what was the final result on saritsu/inom? From the talk it looks like sarits got ktfo.

added the under on oscar 11 1/2 rd +130...waited too long on that one but I think Oscar will be too much for the much smaller forbes and get a mid to late rd tko.

the oscar inside the distance was +136 at 5 dimes....it`s not much of a difference,really....i agree...i needed some action so i went with the "o" inside small...

makes a not to intriguing fight at least somewhat interesting....

i`m expecting dlh`s body work to wear lil` stevie down...but,i expect him to give oscar some trouble early....

forbes is tough, but way to small and woefully outgunned here...

Not my style to chase wagers but I think there is some value in the under. It was +150 about 2 hrs ago. Not really concerned with the change in value. I just hope oscar wants to make a statement. A dec win isn't going to lure anybody to see Floyd/DLH II. I sense a beautifully timed left hook to end matters.

Absolutely horrible week for me. :(

Has to be my worst week in quite a few years.

First that dissapointing corner stoppage in the munroe fight, then Sarritzu gets tkod - and unfortunately one round too early.
I hedged my bet a bit though after reading fightwriters preview.

Even though I was on the over for Arslan and Direll I added Hanshaw - at that time Hanswhaw was +120 and I played Dirrell at -105 - and Wilson, because of Evan....

This guy has really been on a bad streak lately.
Up to this point, he has certainly not been a valuable addition to my betting...
I dont get it, I dont think he has ever lost so many bets before....

I again went against my conviction in the de la Hoya fight, fightwriter and Evan both had him as well, but I have got to admit that I liked the plus money....

I had some winners as well (Dimi under, Arslan over, Julio) but not nearly enought to make up for the losses.

It has been a really nice year up to this point, but I cannot afford to have too many weeks like this.

Apparently I'm in some company...a problem shared is a problem halved, as they say....

Hanshaw
Dirrell was fighting scared versus Stevens. Hanshaw will do better than Stevens, and he is the promoter's fighter. That's enough for me at +112 (pinnacle)

Dimitrenko - Rossy under 10
Rossy did box versus Mercer, but my guess is that Rossy has to take it to Dimitrenko. I can see both fighters mixing it up. I'm on under 10 rounds at -105 (bwin)
That's it, another week in vain. I see nothing next week. I guess I'll give boxing a rest. Anyway, I've loaded up on Miranda at +250. There are allot of factors to consider, but in my book, it's a close tough fight. I'm hitting Chagaev a little more, at +115. If Universum is protecting Chagaev, Valuev must really show something new in that fight to win.
Good luck everybody :mj09:

I had a shitty week myself, my worst in 3 mnths. I went chasing and it's really not my style. Recovered a little with dimentrnko but gave it back on the oscar under. Was hoping for Montiel to get a wrkout and go some rds w/Maldonado but apparently the books had the date wrong. Despite the bad week, this is THE best racket going.

I paid the 30 bucks a month ago for Boxingforecast but I honestly don't use Evans picks. I went against some of his picks in april and had my 2nd biggest month ever. I took Julio earlier in the week but not because Evan was on it. I think his strategy is very simple. He basically reccommends most live dogs in the hopes a couple will pan out each week. I'm not overly impressed with the guy. I don't think he's any better than Graham and Graham offers his picks for free. Some arrogant prick on boxrec was touting the guy for several weeks when he was hitting. I haven't seen the jackass in a few weeks.

I think an intelligent analysis of the consensus opinions here is probably better than anything else around. Sure we miss the mark now and again, but we aren't touts and we stick together for the most part.

i agree with franks.....we`ll be fine....most had a tough week...it`s not the end of the world...nobody can win every week...even the best have a few really bad weeks per year...

i watched some film on froch and inkin and was anticipating this fight....unfortunately,inkin got cold feet...

i wasn`t impressed technically with froch....but,he looked so much bigger than robin reid....he`s a big raw-boned guy...long arms...like a big spider...

technically,he sucks...he seems to throw punches from his waist and he`ll eventually pay for that..keeps his left down by his side ala ken norton, but,he`s strong, awkward and has a decent jab and a big right hand...

inkin`s better technically, but,he doesn`t look physical enough to hang with froch....i think froch might just be to strong...

it was an odd style match-up that would have been fun to watch...

after watching the dlh/forbes farce...and hearing the hbo crew(obviously in the tank for oscar)rave about how "relaxed", focused and sharp he looked( vs a jr welterweight),i`m getting a little fed up with boxing....

maybe i`ve been spoiled by marquez/vasquez,casa/katsidis and the run of recent solid fights we`ve been blessed with....

and the near future doesn`t look particularly outstanding...although hatton.lazcano should be fun while it lasts...as will abraham/miranda...maybe get lucky and stream valuev/chagaev...

c`mon ufc...

Well, his resume has been outstanding.
But for the last month or so, he has not been impressive...

I took a closer look at his record. It seems that this is just the way it is, he had some weak months before and he will probably turn the tables...

Does anybody know this site: ultimateboxingresults.
It looks as though they are offering good predictions as well.

...

The way they were talking you would have thought that Forbes was a better fighter than Mayweather and now Mayweather should start to worry. I actually thought it was rather humerous.
