I had a good night...made up for my bet chasing last week and then some...about an even 1k. I had a hefty amnt on Clot but really wasn't sweating that one. I considered the hedge on Foreman/Roman after Graham and the "man" were leaning towards Roman. I left it alone. I also stayed away from the overs tonight. Sorry to see some here got hosed on a bad ref call w/the early stoppage. I'll probably get into conserve mode w/ 2 huge boxing weeks on the horizon with big money on those.

Congrats on the big night Romi

I completely understand the logic of taking the early profits and moving on to next week, usually thats the smart thing to do. But I still think there's some money to made this week on the Overs, and a couple live dogs to take a small shot at. I'm not saying you should bet all the profits you made this week, just saying a few small plays using the books money might add to the profits. I'd hate to let good bets go by just b/c there's more coming down the road.

Next week is a huge week for me, I have 2 grand riding on Dawson and Cotto, and the other lines haven't even surfaced yet. Lets take advantage of the next two weeks fellas...

Still working on that one, but don't it seem a little strange that these guys are even fighting again? When you consider how the first fight played out, and the final scores, why would they be fighting again so soon, the last fight was only 6 months ago. Even stranger is the fact that Joey opened -360/+280 on this fight. I've been reading that Medley is much improved since the last fight, but it was only 6 months ago, how much better can you get in that short of time. Something smells fishy here and the location/promotion favors Medley, who is the much bigger/taller guy here, so I'm staying away from Isaac. The Over 9.5 looks very solid, I'll be using that in several parlays

Hlatswayo is far from a killer, but he had Medley down on the canvas in their first fight. Medley was really hurt, no flash thing at all. Hlatswayo let him of the hook though, that Hlatswayo is no killer.

I was going to allude to that yesterday that the week was ripe with good over wagers. I'd usually take that over wager on Clot/Cruz but I have a healthy bankroll and went w/the "sure" thing instead. I had 3800 on him to win 7 hund+ and didn't want to spoil the winnings in case he got him out of there. I'm considering a few wagers but nothing near the amt I bet last night. I'll check in later w/what I go with.

Per Boxrec, a 10th round stoppage for Hlatswayo . For Box's sake, I really hope it was after 1:30 mark. I followed thru with my suggestions of using Isaac in parlays and sweetened up Zags, Margarito who I've been working on for a long time in parlays to come in as close to even money. Clottey helped also, but unfortunately I did give some back on decision prop and over.

I really hope Jiminez is fired up for tonight. I thought Chavez looked awful against a not so great Julio Diaz. Even before his knee blew out and now he's coming back over a yearl later after already having time off with many injuries. 36 years old. C'mon Jimenez. Since the under or stoppage prop is +300 or higher, not the worst play I've seen. I want to find out more about Sturms opponent.

I just discovered that I have a pretty big bet on the draw for the Thaxton bout, well big for draw betting standards...that would be sweet!

For some strange reason I like Foreman inside the distance at +900. Probably the first and last time I put money on the kid?:0corn
For some strange reason I like Estrada inside the distance at +520. Strange weight on Whitaker, his comeback fight proved nothing. I'm hoping his comeback is not serious and that he kind of quits in Estrada's home ground.

If someone finds the official time of the stoppage, can they please post it here? it's not on fightnews or boxrec.

Come on 1:31!!!!

I don't quite understand that Hell. Goof has never quit as far as I know and not sure what you see that a guy like Estrada would get him to quit. More power to you if it happens but I don't see it. I kind of like the over but my concern is Goof coming in in such good shape that there could be a possibility of Goof knocking out estrada. I'm thinking the over but haven't pulled the trigger. If Goof is determined and it looks like he is, then this could be a tough go for Estrada, who really isn't anything special.

I like the under in estrada vs Goofy. With goofy it is knock out or get knocked out. 239 is an amazing weight though.

Jiminez is tempting. I love going against small old fighters. Jiminez inside looks juice at 500.

I also take a small shot with Purlette. Experience and power and speed should make this fight pretty even.

I know Estrada isn't anything special. I don't think it's going to happen. Just think there can be value at +500. From what I know, I will not be surprised by any result in this fight.

Where did you get Jim +230? you can easily get a scalp out of that. I played him earlier today +165.
