Jiminez was very dissapointing, seems like the fight may have been there for him to win. Chavez was very hittable but seemed like Jiminez simply didn't want it enough- strange fight. Late money kept coming in on Jiminez, driving Chavez to -175. Having caught a pile at +230, did some hedging to have Jiminez for about 40 to win 240. Good looking bet, still lost 40 bucks- Nice to see a few guys catch a break on the Hlatswayo over.

I had Jiminez at +230 as well, but instead of scalping I decided to parlay the Over 9.5 with the Estrada Over 9.5 -260 since I also had Whitaker at +250. Figured that neither of my dogs would get stopped and was hoping to hit both sides of the Jiminez fight

Btw, I agree that Jiminez didn't want it enough, but imo he just wasn't accurate enough. Chavez was there to be hit on a consistent basis but Jiminez couldn't hit the target when he finally pulled the trigger

Anyone have thoughts on Mathews-Tseveenpurev? Wondering if the dog has a shot here or possibly adding the Over 9.5 to a parlay. Wish I knew how much Tseveen has left in the tank...

Evan picked 3 fights so far this weekend and all wrong...now he's on Choi Tseveenpurev....

I've gotten some positive feedback about Tseveenpurev from other forums, and the number has dropped almost everywhere. Still found +320 at bookmaker/betmaker and put a small wager down. I suppose the line movement could be from Evan's posted play...who knows

I like the Over 9.5 in this fight but the -320 is a little more than I'm willing to risk, so I'll throw it in a parlay

Sorry to hear that Zerwas.

Youre right about Evan, he touted the Bundrage pick on the front page, and conveniently forgot to mention giving it all back plus interest the following week.

Everyone has ups and downs and you can?t judge on a 2-week stint, but both Ws and Ls should be displayed equally.

Today I'm foolishly embracing the gambler?s fallacy and claiming a win is ?due?. 60 for 200 on Choi, which should nearly cover the previous ?dog losses. If it wins, the week is a wash. If it loses, time to reconsider my method.

Not sure if Ill take anything else today. Good luck man.

Yeah, tough luck, but fortunately I'm still way up this year....and Evan is certainly a good capper.

The problem is you have got to be consistent in copying his picks, after 3 losses - the only pick I would have made personally was Jiminez and I wasnt even sure about that one - I'm naturally not willing to risk as much as before, but the way Evan played it, he can still make a profit this week.

So, I'm following his pick again.

If you arent consistent, the results become more and more arbitrary...and thats not good.

But still, I would be very pissed, if Choi loses...

added cald over dieppa @-450. Cald very impressive over a determined cazzara several mnts back. Wide odds but can't see the 37 year old unseating Cald right now.

really kicking myself for not betting the over on Goof/Estrada...that was easy money.

lol.

I was down about having a crap week and some problems with Rogers, so I did what all great men do: get drunk and watch porn. Thankfully I won the huge dog to end the stupor.

Im adding 30 to win 66 Molitor under 11.5. I should've played this earlier, it's been taken off all books except WSEX, I got a crap line.

Molitor isn't a big puncher but he throws sharp and accurate combos, and has great stamina and a decent chin. He threw EVERYTHING at Battery but couldn't get him out, Battery has a Baldomir-type head. Castillo didn't really come to fight that night, he was content to survive the 12 and took few risks.

Never seen Beltran, his KO% is terribly low so I would expect a technical boxer, but his opponents are unimpressive, aside from Guzman of course.

I'll be watching this fight and wanted a play, wish I could take Molitor inside but its off the board.

Unsurprisingly I lost, I just wanted to have some money on my triple main man Steve Molitor without laying -500.

But I came a lot closer to winning the under than I expected, Molitor was fukn razor-sharp and aggressive. Beltran came forward all night looking for the KO, hands down, and Molitor picked him apart with incredible combos and power shots. Several rounds were reminiscent of Kessler-Andrade, all Mexican must have the same 'tough mutha****a' gene. Molitor keeps fighting concrete-headed foreigners, one of these days a big Molitor ITD will cash in, they can't all be this tough.

Im telling you Molitor is a global force, unfortunately he doesnt have charisma or style built for TV, but he's the real deal.

Some of you know Gerry Penalosa fought and easily handled his business against a faded truly shopworn Thai guy. Believe me , I was on the phone with the sportsbook most likely to carry the line, asking them to put one out there but it never came thru and I would have happily shared it if it did.

Link for RBR- Calderon

Congrats to everyone on Calderon. Never thought he'd knock him out though.....KIDDING Shutout unanimous decision

I'm not in the winning column this week, but if Choi had lost, this week would have been pretty bad....

I like to play longshots, and if Choi had stopped Derry some rounds later I would have made a k or so more...unfortunately I keep missing these longshots, also had Khan by ko in round 8 and 9... :/

Looking forward to next week... :)
