Ominous sign that Sugar Shane defaced his torso like that. We'll see how he looks in the coming weeks.

My apologies to the team for what I consider to be sloppy capping by me the last couple of weeks. Too spread out, and chasing a little bit.

Back to basics and back on track this week!

The fight we've all been waiting for:

6/22 Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. vs. John Duddy

The slogan can read: WHO SUCKS WORSE?

Neither will be mistaken for world class, but from a wagering perspective I suppose it's a good even-type match-up.

What do you guys think about Harrison vs Sprott. Odds are already posted so I think it is OK to discuss it.
I see clear winner in this one. I think Harrison will get it this time.
So what do you guys think?

I like Harrison here, but geez, how can we ever be sure about Audley? Last run for Harrison. Sure would be great to see him start to open up, but I don't know if he's got it in him. I think he get's by Sprott though, who seems to have really embraced that sparring partner mentality by now.

:thumb: Now that's what I call a Boxing betting site. Almost worth moving up north for.

Yup, oddschecker is a good site. I found it awhile ago and have been going there regularly as a reference. I shoulda mentioned it to the board earlier on. All UK books, but if someone was linked to all of them there are often widely differing odds and some free money to be made.

Kessler-Froch

Kessler-Froch

So, good spirited go between about the Kessler-Froch matchup. Great points on both sides. No strong sense for me on this one. I can really see either argument developing. Kessler would certainly be a clear favorite if not for SUCH a bad performance in his last fight. He definitely seemed to have lost something, but maybe Ward is just that good? Froch is not Ward, not by style that's for sure. Kessler will have to be willing to lay it on the line. Kessler wins the skill battle here, but IF that killer instinct is gone, I don't think he will beat the Caveman.

Making Haye

Making Haye

Okay, so I've got to give credit where due, and give it up a little bit for Haye. I still maintain that he's a bit over rated (comparisons to Ali), but he's a better heavy than I thought, and it will take a good fighter to beat him. I think the Ruiz fight is a great win for him, and will really help going forward. Just when it appeared he would gas, he did not. I think he has shed this idea of him now, and has proved that he can persevere thru a tough fight. I think a fight between him and Wlad offers alot of intrigue.

Thanks Quanah, I agree with you about sparring partner mentality. I need to think a bit more but very likely I will pull the trigger on this bet.
By the way, here is interesting info for first fight Audley was -600 favorite. I think he just disrespected power of Sprott that is all.

Wow, this is horrible. That is why boxing losing popularity.
So Maidana is going to fight Alexander....hmmmmmm.....

some guy on fightnews radio called in last week and said that, prior to the Maidana-Cayo fight, both Maidana and Cayo were forced to sign a contract that said the winner will NOT fight Amir Khan for 3 fights or 1 year, whichever comes first. I find this hard to believe. Is this true? Anyone else read this?

Fraudley, I think, should win this easly. But I could NEVER EVER trust my money with this clown. I just can't do it. But I will be rooting for you guys.

Hopefully more odds will be available tonight or tomorrow.

I also want to bet every penny I have on the FIELD against Tiger Woods tomorrow. No way this guy goes from banging porn stars to winning the Masters.

But I will stick to the fight game. Stick to what you know.

You can just never be sure what you get with Audley, he is emotionaly instable, has a weak chin, but good power and skills when he decides to use them...

Sprott hasnt had much success lately, but at least he has shown some durability (against Brewer and Ustinov).

Audley by ko IMO is the most likely result, but nothing would really surprise me in this fight.

I'm rooting for a MD / SD by either guy. (gamebookers: ends ind MD / SD +1500)

BTW, Botha looks like DJ ?tzi! ;-)

All 5 episodes of Fight Camp 360 - THE SUPER SIX
Episode 5 - First On Camera Interview with Dirrell since the night of the Abraham DQ
Great Great stuff

http://sports.sho.com/fight-camp-360.html

How bout Dirrell's fiance after the DQ, from ringside, directed at Abraham:

"You a coward. You a bitch!"

but Andre heard it, and thought it was directed at him!

Andre:
"Who the fuck called me a coward man?"
