March to the Money

March to the Money

OK guys
Pretty much what everyone here has already said
Victor Ortiz is going to beat the piss and shit out of Nate Campbell

Ortiz almost had Maidana OUT, and that guy is a proven beast
Vic has been brought back nicely and has had a great camp
Nate inactive and 38 years old
Campbell got KILLED against Bradley and 100% quit to get out of the fight

Book it
Too big, too young, too strong
Vic will control this from the OUTSIDE and SMASH Campbell into retirement

Older fighter....been in wars.....moving up in weight.....again....who needs money.....
Juan Manuel Marquez....Jose Luis Castillo....Nate Campbell....welcome to the club Nate...401k

This is Amir Khan vs. Barrera on repeat
Good matchmaking (for once) by Golden Boy

also

DANNY WILLIAMS WEIGHS IN AT 275 ! GOODNIGHT SWEET PLUMBER !

So....

MY PLAYS

VICTOR ORTIZ (LARGE)
DEREK CHISORA (LARGE)
CHISORA UNDER 7.5 (MEDIUM)

PARLAY
KHAN-WLODARCZYK-CHISORA

Good luck to all

@gardenweasel:
You are right, if there ever was a stiff, European style fighter, its Dzindziruk.
But he is really good at what he does!

I thought the commentators didnt show much love for Sexton.
Obviously, he got off to a pretty bad start, but he clearly won the last 4 rounds...and its really not outrageous to give Sexton 2 of the first 8, some rounds were competetive...

crossroadsfight for Campbell and Oritz!

smart move from the ortiz handlers, that they got oriz some easy opponents first instead of rematching maidana straight away, which could have killed his career altogether.

I guess, Ortiz, Khan and Wlod will get the W, but it might not be that easy!

Malignaggi has never really been stopped (I got a very lucky break, when Buddy stopped the fight), and while he is not a hard puncher, he dropped Diaz and Ndou...and Khans chin is very questinnable! (I'm not saying that Malignaggi is live or that he will stop him, but I wont bet too big on Khan (vs. anybody for that matter).

Wlod is a bit slow and methodical. I was surprised that Fragomeni was able to get back from the knockdown like he did. The first fight was very close. Wlod might have an outside shot at a ko however (got some generous odds).

And well, Oriz, he has size power youth...on his side, but he doesnt strike me as the most reliable fighter. lets hope campbell is indeed as old as he looked agaist bradley!

Anyways, I'm on all of these favorites at pretty good odds!

Mitchell might have a hard fight ahead of him as well...might play him small, some money on over 9 doesnt hurt either, as I dont think he will get a quick stoppage. draw possibitly as well!

I also got Salido over 10.5 @-135!

all due respect but that`s not what everybody said, bud(at least,it`s not what i was trying to say...i can only speak for myself).....you`re exagerrating the points that were made a wee bit..

nobody said campbell was a quitter...i know i was commenting on a point that wee made and making a comparison between the ending of nate`s last fight and williams/cintron...and how ,depending on one`s perspective, one`s seen as lacking heart and the other got a pass....my position is that neither lacks heart....

and nobody said this was a cakewalk..this is a competitive fight with ??? for both guys...that`s what makes it compelling... .i know i just thought there were enough checkmarks on ortiz` side of the ledger to make a play on him at -150...

i know i don`t think anyone in their right mind sees thia as "easy money"....campbell`s tough...and personally,i would never make a "large" wager on someone else`s say so...i`d have to like it an awful lot myself...

i sensed a slight sarcastic tone in your post:D ....seriously,,i`m surprised you`re wagering on ortiz at all...and maybe you`d be right...

if you don`t like it,i`d go easy.....or take your shot with nate.....take it from me,you`ll be kicking yourself if you go against your gut and lose a large wager based on someone else`s opinion...i was swayed when ward fought kessler...the opinions were persuasive...and truthfully, they were legit opinions based in fact......i`m sure i`ve swayed people with opinions that were way off(coleman/bonnar anyone?....maybe a small helping of oscar?...:00x25 .;) :D )

our guys know what they`re talking about...but nobody`s right all the time....if one of those times, you go against your own opinion and lose a decent chunk of cabbage, you`ll be kicking yourself....

it`s your money...your decision...

as always much love..you`re my dude..g.l. this weekend,partner!:toast: ...

great comment from another forum...

""Pretty much. If Ortiz wants to stay relevant he absolutely must win otherwise he is on the fast track to Bojado land. ""

francisco bojado reference:lol:...wtf happened to "panchito"?..........he disappeared into boxing`s black hole...

btw...local boxing radio show interviewing nate and freddie roach live between 10 and 11 a.m......i`ll report any interesting comments as i hear them(ball and chain willing)....

Thanks GW

I guess I wasn't clear in my other posts

I respect everyone's opinion here
I only wager what I'm willing to lose
and I, always, only wager on who I PERSONALLY think the winner will be
I wasn't with you guys on Kessler, but I'm happy it worked out for you

Wager Campbell ? NO WAY
Not for me tonight - I know enough information about these two fighters to wager a side

I think Nate's biggest problem isn't necessarily his age, but his SIZE
he looked MUCH SMALLER at the weigh in
at the smaller weights, moving up makes a big difference
I don't think he can hurt Vic
Maidana is a MONSTER...and Vic was real close there
I think Nate is in trouble here....possible stoppage for sure

It's a wager I'M VERY COMFORTABLE WITH

Good luck tonight dude!....let's get that money

adding chisora -300. Dont like to spread myself thin but chisora easily handled and stopped the guy who had danny hurt bad. Dannys wt indicates that he'll probably gas after the early rds. Thought about the under which is a much better price but Williams can be cagey at times. The bet is based more on Danny being shot than chisoras talent which I dont think is anything special. Danny is also the sentimental favorite here but one would think they're not going to allow him to take too many hard shots in his final go. Good luck!!!
