Hate to admit it but I'm actually looking forward to a Hopkins fight . After rooting against him for the last 10 yrs, I may just root for the old man to pull it off. I was big on Pascal 5 months ago and was happy to get the draw. I had Hop by a pt. I have no idea who wins this but my lean is slightly on Hop. If he doesn't have the look of a confident fighter then I don't know who does.

Loving Bernard Hopkins as a dog in the rematch. He had Pascal figured out and is the kinda fighter that will start right where he left off. May even stop Pascal late due to accumulation IMO but i'll just take him at + odds FTW.

Looking at Jones too. Huck was competitive with this dude not too long ago. I can see RJJ outworking him and potshotting his way to a victory (provided he doesn't get starched)

Huck was competetive with Lebedev, but Huck is one of the best CW! And the fight was in Germany!
This fight is in Russia!

What makes you think he can outwork Lebedev!?

I cant see Jones winning this fight and I would be surprised if he was competetive with Lebedev, who has underrated skills and very good power!

I very much doubt he has the chin or the workrate to make this fight competetive. He was stopped by Green in 1! And Hopkins pretty much controlled the fight against RJJ and outworked him as well! Jones doesnt have the legs either to stay away from anybody for too long!

After watching the last fight, I also lean toward B-Hop. Pascal hits like a mule, no doubt. But he seemed to be giving up in the later rounds, and Hopkins never stopped boxing. That old geezer is amazing. Incredible condition and shrewd as they come. He did get dropped by Pascal and Hopkins looks at the canvas as if there was something OTHER than the punch that caused the knock down. Funny. I think Hopkins can win on points but Pascal is more than capable of really hurting the old man. I'd say it is a war of attrition. If Hopkins survives he can pull it off.

Cleverly-Braehmer looks like it could be fireworks. Cleverly is young but seems to be polished even at this age. Has very accurate punches and a magnificent right cross that lands often. Now Braehmer is a southpaw which may be an issue for Cleverly. It took quite a few right hands to dispatch Brancalion from Cleverly, but Braehmer took him out in 1 round. Hmmm? At this point I like Cleverly's chances as I think he is a more technically sound boxer, and is still improving. Plus the kid has very fast hands and takes advantage of openings when they present themselves.

My first bets in ages and they are BIG ones!!!

I am huge on Cleverly for this fight.

I think he looked pretty shitty in his last fight but I think that was just an off night.
I believe Braehmer is a big puncher but he is just not active enough to beat Cleverly.

Cleverly is a fast, combination puncher who seems to have a gas tank for miles. I think he beats the piss out of the plodding Braehmer, possibly busting him up in the process.
I will be shitting myself until the fight is over as Braehmer has very heavy hands and Cleverly sometimes fights stupid but I am taking the younger, faster boxer, fighting at home.

I also have a big parlay involving Cleverly and Dawson.
I believe Dawson is coming to Canada to make a point on fight night and will look good in the process against a much slower fighter.

Good luck all :toast: :toast:
