I remember that night for a particular reason. I hit a parlay for like 3k. I intended to put DaVarryl in it and clicked the box to bet him. No sooner than I pushed confirm- his dark match was off the board because it had already started. So I went back and re-bet all my original guys except TOS and we saw what happened.....
The betting gods were on my side that night.
On a side note- TOS was a train wreck. He had insane 1 punch power but a shitbird chin. He nearly got stretched a few times here in St. Louis last summer by a journeyman. He was on a dark match for the Spink-Latimore card and some guy with a .500 record buzzed him bad a few times to where I thought he'd be going down any moment.....he ended up winning though.
I came back to MJ to check the boxing threads later that night and I saw alot of you guys all excited about betting TOS against that nobody- I didnt want to be a negative nancy and tell you guys how lucky you were that you'd won. The fightnews blurb didn't really tell too much but some woulda been sweating bullets.

this went from a FOTY candidate to a frustrating fight to watch. Like Bernstein said, Mares is not moving for angles, he just running.
