i knew from rnd 3 on
the fix was in
as long as that little fucker was standing he was getting that decision
he headbutted
he rabbit punched
he got knocked down, they called it a slip
he hit after the bell 3 or 4 times
he caused a cut with an intentional butt
never heard a ring announcer so excited
weeks of work down the tubes with Moses and Tamara
I'm gonna go vomit

fightnews report on the Tamara-Lazarte fight also with ZERO mention of the knockdown that was ruled a slip

I was watching the fight tonight with a boxing trainer, and the guy said to me
"shit, if a guy was roughing us up like that, I would tell my guy to smash him right back!"
Tamara, with all that amateur pedigree, was WAY too passive when the headbutts and rabbit punching occurred. and the crowd was so loud the last round, Tamara just put his head down when the bell rang and resigned himself to getting screwed.
Years of work to become champion, and he really shit the bed tonight. They needed to get on that ref about the knockdown. and they should have pressed for a point deduction on the head butts. I mean, how many warnings does a guy get?
If you are fighting at home in Argentina, the answer is one million. You get exactly one million.
