A quote from Castillo...

?It took me a while in my last two fights to get warmed up, but if Corrales comes to me, this fight is going to be a brawl with each of us taking our best shots at one another."

Corrales will come to him, and come to him, and come to him. He is a straight up stalker and he will come forward untill the fight is over. I have never seen Castillo back up, and he has fought some big punchers. The way he talks, he doesn't look at Corrales as a bigger puncher than any of his other opponents. Thats very dangerous imo. The styles and attitudes of these two fighters should create an absolute slugfest. Both fighters agree this won't go the distance.

I can't wait for this one boys!!!

"the bunker"
played the over parlay myself immediately when i saw it........those 2 stood out to me......and,playing montell griffin as a better than 2-1 dog.....regardless of the height differential is always worth a shot...........he`s so slick that he can give a guy like gonzales fits.......i think +231 is to high here....

i just noticed the polo/marquez over(10.5) and the small flat on polo(+7-1) in your thread.....you know where i stood there....it`s in a previous thread somewhere...

do i think that polo wins....probably not......can he?....maybe......marquez has been talking about 130....pacquaio....everything except polo.....who,in 4 championship bouts has lost 3 split decisions with a draw that is actually a win.....he`s taller...he`s a lefty....he`s durable.....

marquez is better than anyone he`s fought in those fights.....still,over 7-1?.....a throw away...but wtf....may be polo`s last shot....maybe marquez isn`t focused.... polo can fight a little...

the over in this one at 10.5 looks decent,imo...if we lose it,my guess is it will be by a hair.....i expect a distance fight....

quinonez can certainly win,also....

to me,your card has value.....if things break your way,you can have a big weekend...if not,you don`t stand to lose alot....

and castillo/corrales?.....if this goes the distance,it means that corrales and goossen turned corrales into floyd maywether....i just don`t think that castillo backs up....and i can`t see corrales fighting a safe fight...just not his style.....anything can happen....i know castillo has an excellent chin...and i know corrales keeps getting off the deck....

but, these guys seldom,if ever, back off...maybe corrales tries to box.....i just think that once the fur starts flying, guys like corrales and gatti just go on auto pilot and get offensive....

glad you didn`t let all the "stuff" discourage you.....

good job...imo,the plays are solid....if they don`t hit,i still think you did the right thing....

You posted an interest in Polo at huge odds and I quickly agreed, I got the opener at pinny almost 8-1.

In the same reply I mentioned interest in the over 10.5 and you quickly agreed.
The line opened at +100, its now up to -118. You can get the over 11.5 +110 at Olympic right now.

Olympic also has the Cast-Corr under 9.5 at +115 right now, that seems very generous to me.

Looking for a low line on a prop coming out soon

Glad you agree with most of my investments

Right now I'm leaning towards Castillo and the over 8.5-155. Diego should be cautious to a degree. I see some bombs thrown but they are both tough, seasoned vets.

I don't know about the corrales distance, it will probably be real close to that area, so I'll tail you on that. good luck I like your card.

Caballero+115 over Valbuena. Have to say I do like betting aganist a guy who hasn't fought in over a year. It's true, Tito Trinidad may have dispelled the notion of "ring rust", but one apple does not a pie make. Just off a UD win over Ponce DeLeon, makes me feel he is hot. Also have to disagree with roxie boxie on the Griffin-Gonzalez matchup. Just love Gonzalez's physical makeup. Really beautiful height for a lt. heavy(6'2") and a huge reach advantage here. Calzaghe sure looks like he will put Veit to sleep, as it is in the Fatherland, he will have to. As spinch said, betting a fight in Germany is a shaky proposition to be sure. Hope you guys win that one, but I am reluctant to bet a fight in Germany;

"the bunker"
frank s.......is this "franks" from the pre---------? .....

i think that the distance prop in gonzales/griffin is the way to go.....of course,i`m not laying those odds ,so i parred it with the quinonez over....

look at the guys griffin`s been in with....all the tall guys...he`s a difficult guy to fight...awkward and slick..he ALWAYS fights taller guys.....and gonzales isn`t slick, fast or hard to hit...

now,i do believe he deserves to be favored(gonzalez)..and gonsalez has a substantial home court edge here..... my griffin play is small...

i can see taking a whack at caballero...tall.........the ponce de leon win should have caballero goosed...even though valbueno and ponce are very different style-wise....
why not.....

wish i had the balls to bet the armah/quinonez over....looks like the best bet on the board....-344 at pinny......damn...

i see valuev/etienne under 7.5 at -180....hmmm...

i hope you are the franks i`m thinking of....glad you`re here...

I got the Valuev-Etienne under 7.5 at -150 yesterday, still not sure whether I will scalp it or not, I knew the line would move in a big way so I played it. I will post it if and when I decide not to scalp.

Warning! Caution! Attention! Notice! Beware!

Warning! Caution! Attention! Notice! Beware!

I originally played the 5/5 parlay as...lay .5 to win .4

I later decided that I liked the Quinonez-Armah over enough to play it straight, so I added the play and pulled a little off the parlay, now laying .35 to win .3

For the record
I still really like the parlay and personally I'm letting it ride at the original posted value.

Some bettors don't like parlays and others don't have the option of playing them, I always take that into consideration and when possible I will play one of the legs straight so everyone can cash.

On the other hand, some betters won't lay more than 2-1 on anything. I always keep that in mind which is why I also post parlays when the lines are high.

Anyway
The reason I pulled a little off the parlay is b/c I added a straight play on one of the legs, trying to get everyone involved with out risking too much.

Pulled a little more off the parlay...laying .25 to win .2

I still like the parlay, but I have a lot riding on the straight bet.

Excellent start

Excellent start

Congrats gw, glad you decided to lay the wood.
I too felt this was the cash cow of the weekend and played it pretty big late.

frank
Why didn't you tell me you liked Quinonez?
I might have played it bigger if I knew you liked it

does the parlay lose because of that bullshit headbutt, that sucks the fight went to the scorecards in the 6th round.

"the bunker"
that was surely going to the cards....gonzales was slowing down....

what can you do....not sure if either guy has ever been cut bad enough in a fight to have it stopped....

the ref ,yet again, let the bout get way to rough....punching on the back, the hips....american refs are lazy....the do very little to earn their pay.....

what can you do?....
