griffen wouldn't have won anyway, the fix was obviously in, how could two judges have a shutout through six rounds? it was very even and as long as gonzalez wasn't ko'd he'd have surely gotten three more rounds easily. that cut must have been deep, it didn't look that bad but sowell. on to the weekend.

nice call on the upset.

"the bunker"
i thought gonzales was comfortably ahead...but,he seemed to be slowing a bit...he threw alot of long, hard punches early.....

i think it would have gotten interesting down the stretch....

still,he was ahead..no doubt....

one thing to keep your eye on...the goossen`s are every bit as devious, imo,as king.....

so when betting against a goossen fighter,be careful...although,i believe armah was a goossen guy and he lost a split last night....leads me to believe that quinonez won comfortably....

if castillo/corrales goes the distance...and that`s not what i believe will happen,i think castillo will have trouble getting a decision...

i`ve always been very skeptical of the big promoters.....they have lots of influence...

btw....franks......congrats on caballero....you got my attention....i`m embarrassed to say that i actually sat through caballero/ponce de leon not long ago,and it didn`t register...i didn`t remember seeing that fight until i saw him when the fight started...

memory going south....good call...excellent night....

thanks...

Castillo quote...

?If Corrales really wants to exchange like he has been saying, this is really going to be a quick fight."

Hey Luis, believe me, Corrales wants to exchange...big time!!!

I don't think Castillo knows what he's getting into, if he thinks Corrales is going to back up and avoid trading, he's in for a long night. And if he thinks Corrales doesn't hit harder than his other opponents, he's in for a rude awakening.

Spinch; you got me in trouble with boxie! I think you may have confused the Caballerro play with Quinonez-Armah. I really can't find a post of mine regarding that fight. At any rate, thanks on the Caballero result. Not always the answer, but I guess ring rust ain't no myth. Yes, I are the same guy from the other joint, as you probably just figured out. By the way, remember what you stated in the past about more than 3-1. You avoid doing that just as I hardly ever do either.

Boxlocks, you are right...Corrales does want to exchange and see if Castillo will hang in there because if Castillo starts to back up, the fight is OVER as Castillo will have been completely taken out of his game.

Should be a great fight.

A big cut on Castillo's left eye, they're calling it a accidental headbutt. It could effect the fight.

Even round 5 and 6 so far...

Its over, Castillo dropped Corrales twice in the 10th, each time his mouthpiece came out and the ref gave extra time to recover while putting it back in. Corrales was half dead but he caught Castillo and finished it. The ref pulled him off.

What a fight, I'm speechless, by far the best fight I have ever seen

Seriously
