Now I am curious! :0corn

Jack put out a solid boxing tip for the weekend

and he did me the favor of taking it down, at least until the books get all the odds out there

Once Oddessa gets the odds out, a lot of these books just copy and paste his lines, but add juice depending on where the early action is

It's not fair to Oddessa (who works hard on the lines) and it's not fair to the players (who work hard on finding an edge)

I was just hoping to hold off a a few more hours, until all the books (Greek, BetUS, Pinnacle, SI, etc.) post boxing lines

Not trying to keep anything secret, just hopefully trying to get good odds for the players across the board

Best of luck to everyone this weekend

I am betting Godfrey at +400. I think Kayode is dogshit and Godfrey has the boxing skills to lay a beating on him.

Godfrey's chin worries me, especially for the first 3 rounds but if he gets past that, he could stop Kayode on a swollen face.

The line jack and I were discussing earlier was Avalos against Suleymanov

jack can tell you more, as he has seen both

but our silence, unfortunately, was unsuccessful

the copy and paste machines struck again, often and early

line is doubled now on Avalos, the younger, stronger puncher

value at -300, not so much at 500 or 600

difficult to get ahead in this game, I tell ya

Friday plays

Lot's going on tonight!

I like Avalos. I caught him reasonably early, but same as Old Dirty, I've been minimized in some places. I've got Avalos straight, parlayed, and ITD.

I also like the UNDER 8.5 and ITD in the Kayode fight. I like Godfrey, he's a very intelligent guy with good knowledge of the game. I think he would make a good trainer or commentator...but I fear he's shot. He's slow and slow to react. He doesn't get out of the way well. Down hard against Nwodo, down against journeyman Simms, bludgeoned against Huck. Kayode is an exceptionally strong cruiser too. Kayode's old free-swinging style will serve him better than if he try's to box in this fight.

I'm also taking a small upset shot with Irving Garcia @ +215, along with a bit of Garcia W10 @ +485. Galarza with the glossy ko record, but he looked very one dimensional against Solomon. He's faced very weak opposition. Garcia is a bit chinny, so this is a concern. He's faced a much higher standard though, and always gives good fights. I think Garcia has seen much better than Galarza and has got a good chance to expose the young kid.

Good luck guys!

Gotta pick and choose, can't play everything...

I was waiting for the odds on the Reveco fight in Argentina. Thought they could've been reasonably close and if so, would've hit Reveco. Price too high though. Reveco is coming up in weight and JP Perez is not soft touch. Homefield big here though. Call is Reveco W12 in a tough fight.

I think Dulorme is a very good prospect. I watched some footage of him and was impressed. Quick sharp puncher, ko instinct. Corley is not to be taken lightly, but he's become a trial horse. If you got something you get by Corley. Plus he's coming up in weight. I think Dulorme wins ITD.

Corley looks fuking OLD as dirt in the photo. The new kid is a KO artist at this young age, and the fact, as you mentioned, Chop is moving up in weight, makes me like the under 8.5. Lets face it, Corley hasn't put on any muscle, just MORE WEIGHT!!! Makes him slower and more prone to fatigue, and may indicate a lack of conditioning. Good night Chop Chop!

Irving Garcia +200 (single pop)

I liked Garcia two years ago versus Abregu so I will sure as hell take him versus a kid who got shut out versus Brad Solomon - who I personally think is overrated as hell

They inducted Referee Joe Cortez into the Boxing Hall of Fame ?!

Must be for his stellar work in the Soto-Lorenzo bout.

Induction=Retirement hopefully.

Hasim weighed in at 284lbs.

Good to see he's still taking his career seriously.

It's funny also that the media luncheon was held at an IHOP. :142smilie Quite a ways from his days as Heavyweight champion of the world.
