Daniel Jacobs v Dmitry Pirog in the works for the undercard of Marq/Diaz II July 31 Vegas :scared.
I think Vegas is calling. Linares/Juarez also on the card. If tickets aren't out of line, I'm there. Shaping up to be an excellent card :0074

: just noticed that George Groves, the young Brit sensation will be in against TBA :0074 :0074

I wish this fight was a 160 instead of 168.

I wish this fight was a 160 instead of 168.

Sebastien Demers (31-2) vs. Brian Vera (16-4)

This should be a fan friendly fight. Vera is coming off 3 straight loses to very tough opponents. When Vera boxes with a disciplined attack plan and attention to defense (which is usually for half of the time) he looks like a good fighter. Unfortunately, he enjoys brawling too much while relying on his decent power and forgets about covering up and stepping to the side to avoid shots. Demers is a high volume punches with quick feet to get off his combinations and then steps out of range and resets. Unfortunately, he is not a puncher. This should be interesting to watch.

So this moron get a gift decision at home, loses fair decision abroad then bitches and bitches and is now rewarded with neutral site.
Montreal is great boxing city but this would be much bigger event in Germany and England and probably a lot of money will be lost.
I hope Arthur smokes him.

I agree.
Carl Froch is coming off as a real cry baby and a hypocrite.
He keep saying he was "robbed" against Kessler and that he won "fairly" against Dirrell.
There was only one controversial decision there, and it was his hometown fight.

"the bunker"
i don`t blame him....if you could quantify home court in this tourney, what would it be worth?....

imo, a ton...

i`m happy it`s on a neutral.....i wish they all were(even though i understand it`s fiscally not possible)....we`ll finally get a true reading of who`s better...no emotional edge...no fans influencing the judging...

Yeah I read it and found it pretty interesting. Such bs geez. The guy is actually posting an open letter on the web to ask anyone who has a contract with him to let him know.

Think I'll go write up a promotional agreement.

According to boxingscene James Kirkland to be released Oct 2 and to finish off his sentence in a halfway house

Goes on to say he has gained a few lbs and will be fighting at a higher weight until he sheds back down to 154. Watch out jr mids, this guy is going to be on a mission. I'd love to see him in with any of the top dogs minus Sergio. I think Sergio would give him serious trouble but then again once he's at the top of his game, he's like a runaway train :scared. Can't wait to see him in action.
