Hasim Rahman vs Monte Barrett
This is the next big fight I am looking at.

Pinny has Barrett +248. I think he is a very live dog. I can remember Monty "two gunz" being a real slouch; listless and sloppy. I saw him live and he could make a guy puke. I still feel he has made a fresh commitment to the sport and is equal to Rahman in many ways. Again, I think the price is the oddsmakers charging for public perception and hype. Look at what's been happening with chalk. Last nite was an example. Bobby Pac came to fight and demoralized his opponent. I'm leaning to Barrett here. This may change as it gets closer. I did not pull the trigger, but I have Barrett on radar at the present.

good job...i thought it was a clear win for tarver....a little sloppy but it finished fairly strong....
i won a little off a par hedge that had tarver inside the distance...i got tarver by decision at +156...
but,i lost a few dollars on phillips....didn`t see the fight.....i heard that phillips was strong early and that ike came on.....until getting decked in the 9th....a question about a 2nd knockdown?....i don`t know....
no beef from me...if ike hung in after 5 years off,i`m happy that he has something left....
still have jeff lacy left on a tarver/urkal/lacy1 to win 1.5 parlay....

Box; have you checked Pinny lately? Got all sorts of new stuff. Lots of numbers are way out there. Some are playable. Also round props to be considered. Give a holler if something leaps out.
I see 'em frank, got off work late again tonight so I'm just now looking at them. Will be back shortly.

As posted in past threads, I started posting a futures section in my signiture to show what plays I'm on down the road in case anyone wants to jump on early. However, and as previously posted, the units I put on my futures are projected and subject to change. As fights grow closer more info becomes available which influences the value of my final play.
To answer your question, right now I have this...
Mayweather -400...lay 2 units to win .5 and the under
Mayweather under +170..lay .2 to win .35
I still love Mayweather here, and if this was the only fight I was betting this week, I would lay 4 units to win 1. But there's plenty of action to choose from this week so I don't want to put all my eggs into one basket.
I played Mayweather pretty big a month ago, and I planned on hitting it harder untill all these smaller fights got lined. If I don't find any other decent plays tonight, I'll put more on Floyd.
