really want to take a flyer on litzau at almost 3-1....but bruner has been fighting much heavier than litzau.....

litzau has heart...and i hate guys that grunt when they punch......

but he`s gonna be outweighed by a good bit once they hit the ring....

I just talked myself into a double pop on him @ +290

Never been a huge fan of his but I though Broner was miserable last out and these Mexicans will have blood lust

I think they will root for the white boy which might help scoring

RYAN RHODES v SAUL ALVAREZ u9?-110 (quad pop)

I'm usually pretty leery of these surefire prospect types but I think Alvarez is the nuts. He gave Matt Hatton a tenacious beating.

Now's enters a 34 year old Brit in about his 100th career fight, leaving the UK for the first time, and entering the Lion's Den (Guadalajara). Rhodes lost to Gary Lockett who if you recall nearly got decapitated by Kelly Pavlik in one of the biggest main event routes of the last few years.

I just cannot see this being competitive.

After seeing the size of the ring, i added an extra unit @ -120

Now 5 units on the U9.5 (big play for me)

Litzau's old defensive liabilities come back to haunt him

Broner wins impressively early

Saul alvarez wins by tko in the 12th

Really want to see Canelo fight a guy that isn't seemingly over joyed that just he survived a round; that can throw a punch and have it land; that can crack, etc. Basically an actual legitimate opponent, not that heavy bag with a pulse that was Rhodes. Nothing more than a glorified sparring match; cannon fodder for Alvarez. Another total mismatch to suffer through. Total fuking joke.

I agree! This guy is really a veteran when it comes down to his number of fights. He should step up!

BTW, this was a very quiet week, not only boxingwise, but also participationwise (if this is actually a word)!

Is everybody all right!?
Ghost, are you ok!? No, new thread yet! ;-)
