What a mess! Michael Buffer's announcement of the way the bout ended was somewhat ambiguous: "The bell rang for the beginning of round number 10, referee Big Eddie Cotton realised the challenger could no longer continue, calls a halt to the bout ..." At no time did Michael say: "TKO at the end of round nine" or "TKO at the start of round number 10". He merely said: "winner by TKO".

I am totally convinced in my own mind that this was a TKO end of 9. Not a shadow of a doubt in my mind.

At the end of the day, it all rests with the line manager at individual sportsbooks.

I repeat, I believe that anyone getting credit for a win on a KO10 proposition or a KO in rounds 10-12, round-group wager, can count themselves very fortunate, and good luck to them because as we all know, fortune can swing either way in this business.

Actually, i believe too the correct result is 9 rd tko.

Players and sportsbooks got their feet tangled up by the unprofessional job of the announcers.

At least i learned something today.:violin:

Garay had to lose 55 pounds in 25 days

Great training....what a loser....

Would have been nice had Boxingscene had that bit of info Sat morning. Nobody is going to wager on a guy that had to drop 50 lbs in a month. I'm sure a few of us would have even taken the doggy at those odds. I expect Brahmer to take Campillos belt in his next fight.
