What are your thoughts regarding a round prop with Castillo-Hatton? Both guys swear they are going balls to the wall; I am not so sure about a stoppage inside of 12 either way. I am attending this one so I am looking for a solid play. My first inclination was towards Hatton. But as I do many times, as the fight gets closer, I go back and forth.

I don't see either guy getting stopped here, but both guys have a history of cutting...esp Hatton. I expect there to be alot of in-fighting, so headbutts could happen early and often. I don't trust the scar tissue around Hatton's eyes enough to play the Over in this one.

My play on Castillo is basically a value play, considering the promotion of the fight I see it as a pick'em. I think Castillo is a much better in-fighter, and since Hatton is not fighting under his own promotion this time, he won't be allowed to hold the entire fight. So he'll be forced to fight when he gets close where he's used to holding, he won't know what to do at that point. Big advantage for Castillo on the inside and on the scorecards given the promotion.

However, Hatton's handspeed and footwork might be too quick for Castillo on the outside. Castillo is a plodder and a counter puncher, Hatton could beat him to the punch most of the night.

Should be a good fight either way, but I'll take the + money...small

gl and enjoy the fight

I am very big on Hatton. He is the missing link in several parlays. Played him also -4 handicap at -115.

I believe Hatton will be really up to the desk in this one. IMO he doesnt get enough credit for his Kosta fight.
What i like about Hatton he is not a stupid one way fighter but he adapts pretty well.
In his last fight he showed very good defense work barley got hit clean.

Castillo is on the way down not only his last fight but also coming in two times in a row too heavy is not a good sign.

Hatton in superb physical condition will really dominate in the later rounds.

This is Hattons weight class not Castillos.

I think he gets way too much credit for the Kostya fight, I've never seen anyone hold that much in my entire life. John Ruiz thought it was absolutely pathetic

I agree that this is Hatton's weight class and Castillo could be on the way down, but I took the + money in what should be a close fight, given the promotion

if you are talking about this 1 it's Ledderman's card......

any KO before round 4 is a winner, Harold Lederman's scorecard is official for grading purposes
Sat 6/23 165 Hatton leads after 3 rounds -180
11:00PM (EST) 166 Castillo leads after 3 rounds +150

Not sure what your beef is with Letterman there Weasel. I feel that my card and his is always in the same ballpark.
On another note where do you guys wager where you can bet the letterman card? Boy id rather bet that then the real judges with an agenda.

This prop is also available at 5dimes...if you like Hatton this is the play as the Top Rank promotion won't matter...

any KO is a winner, only Harold Lederman's scorecard used, see sportsbook rules for grading details
Sat 6/23 155 Hatton points handicap (Lederman) -2? +105
11:00PM (EST) 156 Castillo points handicap (Lederman) +2? -135

Thanks box. I concur that this is essentially a pick-em, BUT the perception is Hatton, for some reason. All Ricky does is mention the Tszyu fight as his defining moment. And what youy say about cuts is pertinent here also. I can see a head butt or three. Still can't make a decision on this one.

there you go......need i say more?:D ......

i kid,spongy...

thanks mayorga...i should have looked at the wager detail page a little closer...i caught it in my parlay at -165

knowing very little about feider viloria,i took juan lopez/viloria under 8.5 myself....

i like it quite a bit...

lopez is on a roll...he appears to be a force to be reckoned with.......he has wins over some decent veterans...some solid fighters....mostly stoppages...

viloria has fought very little in the way of competition...check boxrec out...look at all those little red boxes on viloria`s opponent`s ledgers....

the one solid guy that he rolled with((roinet caballero) rolled him in 5 rounds....

looks to me like a potential mismatch on paper...only problem is that they don`t fight these things on paper...lol

lopez is at home in puerto rico...he`s a lefty...15 k.o.`s in 17 bouts.....

i hit this a little harder than usual....under 8.5 is more than generous,imo.....

i always liked henry.....difficult guy to fight....consistent except for the lewis meltdown....

..yeah,he`s 41...yeah,it`s in germany.....but a split decision the first time around?...maybe henry can make a few adjustments....

+275?......

a small throwaway?....worth thinkin` about...
