zbik doing okay... if they were even close to the same weight chavez would be in serious trouble. chavez's first real test? win or lose, he loses here.
Was hoping Glen would smack Froch but Froch closed better, deserved it. Chavez is little raw but has energy, will and toughness. Little Jr. who was once a scrawny 130 pounder just won the WBC middleweight title. He fights hard and can beat some other middles. Not Maravilla though. But at 25, can still get better and his fights are fun.

One comment about Chavez and his weight.
I highly doubt, if he weighed 180 tonight, that he made 160 yesterday at Staples.
Rumors abound that the kid cheated on the scale fight after fight in Mexico.
I watched the weigh-in stream yesterday - he missed it on the first attempt. But he never weighed in again. Later they said on fightnews he made 160.

Zbik was fighting a cruiserweight.

Watched the fights late. Froch/Johnson WOW...Froch showed once again he has elephant size cajones. A lesser man would have caved. Old Man River gave a great account of himself but the right guy won...very competitive but I had Froch by 5 pts...wtf 114-114? For some reason I thought Froch would want to tie up Johnson on the inside but he's a true warrior and he simply fought off every assault.
Chavez showed some grit. I had him running away w/it 2nd half...again 114-114 WTF?
Excellent week and just need Cloud to do his job to finish a few parlays out!
