First, the announcer says Chavez 160,2, then after a short pause he says "Correction, 160 lbs"!

While watching the fight, I thought the exact same thing. I can't recall a middlewt ever coming in at 180. Props to the kid for putting forth his finest effort as a pro but there is no fvcking way on God's green earth that he made 160. This was a fight that was entertaining to a degree but I sort of thought Jr dominated from about the 6th on. I wouldn't be surprised in the least if they have a rematch. Jr suffered a few cuts but Zbik has NO pop and provides a nice payday with little risk. There is also no way on God's green earth that Jr will take on Sergio in the near future.

If this kid just barely "made" weight at 160 and blew the fuk up 20lbs. overnite, and guys usually add more bulk/weight as they mature, how in the hell will this kid stay at 160? If he was in with a true banger, his face would have looked like a mutilated radish. If he even tries 168, with the monsters in that division, he will get demolished. He be working at Del taco soon after.
Thongie; I truly feel Ward will wax Froch for sure. Bet early, bet often. I would be shocked if Ward doesn't open up as almost a -200 favorite. Even at that price I'll bet into it. Any lower and I'll hammer it.
Yeah, Froch will meet his match with Ward. And Ward could look very good in that fight. Ward did struggle with ultra strong but crude Sakio Bika but I didn't think Froch will bring it like that.
