I agree Brother but the snide comments on this forum are few and far between compared to other forums.
I stopped posting on the other forums due to know nothing dickheads talking about "owned" this and "owned" that.
This forum has A LOT of very good cappers.
Punch and Box seem to irritate each other very easily. I think they should just :00x1
punchy started this by coming in here and bashing my Parra +360 play, which was a much closer fight than he thought btw. I responded by giving him my logic for making the play...and nothing else
However, when I matched punch's bashing with a bash of my own, he responds with nothing but name calling and insults...lol
And yes punchy, the difference here is that you posted your bash before the fight started and I waited until after the fight to bash you...Oh the irony...
Maybe now you understand why nobody respects a guy who doesn't post his plays before the fights and then comes back later and talks about his winners

A big ego in sportsbetting will make you broke.
Anyone with longevity with successfull sportsbetting will tell you that.
And I'm not talking about all the bull crap touts that are in the industry. Most toutsare simply marketers...not bettors. If they were betting anything worth keeping they wouldnt be selling the goods.
But this is you guys forum and the bickering is entertaining from time to time so carry on. I got no beefs here and dont want none. :00hour

Box-if you have a problem with punchy, that's fine, But, I don't think, as you said, you have one with anyone else. Therefore, I'd say the crew still wants you to continue as you always have. Why should one guy effect all of us? Lets not let this corrupt this forum. It degrades the whole operation and we may lose good people because of it. I could go on but you get the drift.

I have always said that the reason I post my picks on this site AND NO OTHER, is because there is a lot of really savvy boxing people here who try to help each other make money and no piss ants slagging people about their picks or their losses.

I actually came from the former BetterMMA site. That place had great great info. No on etouted or posted units etc..but damn the consensus of picks...especially MMA was second to none. You always got the honest goods and the posters were global. No agendas there. Just open debate.:0corn

that said,i think we all need to step back and take a deep breath...
truth be told,box brought some of the fine cappers we all benefit from to this board...and,although maybe he didn`t literally start this,he posted picks religiously early on and that`s what basicallly took this forum to the level that it currently occupies...
his threads were and still are the linchpin around which everything revolved in the the boxing part of this forum...

I concur. Good post GW. This is a damn good site and would be a shame if it went to hell. Us gambling heathens are all going there eventually but would be nice if we kept the party going on in the mean time. Boxing betting is a gravy train that I'm not going to part with any time soon. There are some very solid cappers on this board and I'd be very surprised if anybody has lost money...in the long run, over here. A few words have been exchanged but no big deal. I haven't seen anybodys mother brought into the conversation yet so that's a good sign...speaking of, my poor Irish catholic mother has been banged so many times by posters that I wouldn't be surprised if some of you were my brothers. I hope Box and Punch stay on board. Take a chill, relax, and keep on posting guys.
Geez. I honestly haven't been on this forum for days as the last straw for me was the ring leader coming in after the Ponce fight, highlighting my liking Ponce and saying it was easy money AFTER the fight. That's a fragile ego there Box- I didn't really bash your Parra pick, my "you gotta be kidding me comment was simply showing how much I disagreed with that pick and I suppose I could have said it much nicer with sugar and strawberries, but I then mentioned that maybe you really like the fight in Parra's back yard and were perhaps playing the Venezuelan angle- go back and read it. I certainly didn't come out after and say Caballero was easy money after the fight, as Box did with Ponce so there's no question in my mind who's in the wrong here, but it doesn't matter one bit. Good ol Frankie boy is 100% right that a forum like this shouldn't be brought down because of one clash of personalities and it looks like Box really got this forum going and invited people to it and built it up so he's the last that should go. I decided almost a week ago I was done here, it happens. With many great cappers, one gone isn't going to make much of a difference. GL

Thats the kicker...I know, I understand, and I appreciate what punchmaster brings to the table. I realize that he's a great boxing handicapper. My only problem with punch has been well documented, and its very simple, I don't respect a guy who doesn't post his own plays and then continues to bash a guy who puts his reputation on the line every week. Its not a hard concept to understand...
I'll say it right now, punch could be a very solid addition to this forum, but he's just not a team player. He has admitted that much on this forum, saying that guys who don't know anything about his beloved sport don't deserve to make money off it...or some sh*t. Little does he know that this is a sports betting forum and the reason we're all here is to get help from others while providing our own help when possible.
All I ever asked from punchy was to either post his plays before the fights start...or not post his plays at all. But this guy just can't figure out that he's at a sports gambling forum where the only thing that matters is posting winners...before gametime
