good thing no under line, i would of bet wolak would of koed barret :)

I think it was you that was asking if anybody saw a line on the fight. No over/under but Betus had wolak @-10000. No typo there. They had his opponent @ +1800

June 5th (Friday), 2009

(
June 6th (Saturday), 2009

At Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan
Naoki Matsuda (29-8-4) vs. Noriyuki Ueno (10-8-4)
Daisuke Nakagawa (13-2-1) vs. Koshinmaru Saito (11-2-1)

Great & powerful Ghost, I'd be interested in the Japo results as I took a shot at the wide dog... noticed you dip your toe in the tennis waters also which I've started doing- ask Romi what I grabbed Fed at , along with a must play on a Soderling hedge.

Searching for you punchmaster
These Japanese results can be tricky sometimes

Yeah, tennis betting is dangerously fun
Totally different from betting boxing
I am still just "dipping my feet" as you say

I am on Fed tomorrow, too

Jeez.. Wolak is a decent hard-working, high workrate fighter, but he is no Sugar Ray Robinson. A 100 to 1 favorite is ubsurd. Wolak got totally outboxed by Ishe Smith a few fights back. In one of Ishe Smith's better performances. Those odds are pretty crazy imo. I know Barret is limited, but I would be insulted if I was him by those odds.:)

Xcaret, Mexico - Omar Ni?o reversed last year's defeat by Filipino Juanito Rubillar with a hard fought deserved unanimous decision over Rubillar in their rematch, and in doing so won the eliminator for the opportunity to take on WBC Champ Edgar Sosa.

Not a good week but a nice comeback after wagering too much on the Boystov/bidenko over. I chased and wagered romero and already had the over on it...saved my butt from a disastrous week. Congrats Romero backers!

I have a couple bucks on the dog for the french open...very rare tennis wager for me.

Hate to spoil the party, but this boxingscene unanimous decision blurb is misleading- fight ends after 8 rounds I think??

I thought ueno was live @+500 (no bet) and apparently he was. He put his for down early in the fight and was ahead going into the 10 rd on 1 card. According to fightnews the fight was stopped prematurely in rd 10. Uena was close on the other 2 but probably would have lost a 10 rd dec.

Congrats on getting down on Romero, yea , I took a small shot at Ueno as a quick analysis told you +500 was generous, but the dog didn't quite bark loud enough- oh well.

Sheeeeeeeet...thought that was a winner. Boxrec confirmed it. I end up pushing on the fight instead of banking 8 bucks. Now it's a definitive shitty week. Hope the dog wins the tennis match tomorrow to bail me out.

That's the breaks. Shit happens in this sport. I celebrated like you to have the carpet pulled from under. More frustrating than that was that Punch mentioned the righty/lefty matchup and I chose to ignore it. All too often they end up in head clash Tds. A 500.oo lesson learned.
