BOXLOCKS, do you favor Cotto on the kayo. I like your under play as well, but thinking about a play on Cotto to get the kayo.
Abdulaev is hurtable and gets winded. are you waiting for a line to come up on that maybe ? What do you think are Abdulaev's chances for the kayo? thanks

Yes I favor Cotto by KO but if somehow this goes the distance I think he'll get the decision.

I played the under at -140 b/c first of all the number was way too low, a possible scalp opportunity if I wanted to hedge later. But I don't want to scalp here. I played the under basically as a safer alternative to Cotto by ko. Yes my bet loses 1.5 rounds to the ko prop, but it gains any technical decision short of 10.5 and more importantly cashes on an Abdulev KO of Cotto.

Also
I figured the Cotto by KO and esp Cotto inside distance props would open higher than -140

Note
The inside distance props at 5dimes cash on a tech decision

Anyway
I think Cotto getting severely hurt by Corely was a bit of a fluke. Don't get me wrong, Corely can punch hard when he wants to. IMO Corely hit Cotto hard throughout the fight, but only really hurt him that once with a perfect shot right on the temple. It took Cotto's balance away completely, and while Corely dicked around, he got it back and finished him.

The temple shot had to be a fluke, Cotto went the distance with N'Dou who has never thrown a straight punch in his life. He hooks his jab (lol) But he does have power for sure. I vividly remember wide looping power shots bouncing off the side of Cotto's head the entire fight. He took many big shots to the temple that night and never looked hurt. Cotto's been in with many big punchers, I think he'll be fine.

Cotto should be too much for Abdulev who has a very suspect chin

check 5dimes fella's

gibbs/manchengo under 2.5 rounds -120

Manchengo has been kayoed in 1 round in like 2 of his last 4 fights. plus that was at 147/154. gibbs will be weighing in between 160 and 168.

sounds like a winner to me. good luck

threw together a parlay for fun
harrison/davis under 8.5 -133
gibbs/manchengo under 2.5 -160
tyson/mcbride won't start round 5 -295
cotto wins inside the distance -197

.1 unit pays .47

hey boxlocks, you gonna shade gatti inside the distance. +885, i figure that's his only way he will win.

Congrats on the winners

Hate to admit it, but I did the same thing on Diaz. Layed .2 on the under and layed 1.85 to win .2 on Diaz straight, just in case. Hit 'em both for a nice profit and didn't have to sweat the heavy wood at all. I parlayed Kessler with Tyson inside distance to get -140ish

Glad we agree on the Harrison-Davis under, if Audley fights aggressively (like Mesi did) it will be a very short night. I was surprised to see +101 at pinny.

Casamayor-Raiymkulov is my biggest play of the week, laying .9 to win .75 here, played it a little bigger personally. Casamayor has one of the best chins in boxing and KD's head is like a bowling ball. KD can punch but I don't expect him to land flush very often against the slick southpaw. Even if he does, many fighters with lesser chins have gone rounds with KD. Casa should be fine, and KD has nothing to worry about with Casa's power.

Boxrec doesn't show the Gibbs fight on the Philly card, must have been cancelled?

Not hedging the Mayweather play, can't throw money away.

The parlay looks good

not surprised the gibbs fight was cancelled. it was such a mismatch i was ashamed to bet it. almost

the only thing I can see is Casamayor not respecting Kid Diamond and maybe not being as defensive as he was vs Corrales and Castillo. If Casamayor uses defense than it will for sure go the distance.
good luck.

McBride weighed in at 271, the highest of his career and 7 pounds heavier than his last fight 3 months ago.
Not exactly in top shape for the biggest fight of his life.

Tyson weighed in at 233, normal for him
