The Japanese Hozumi Hasegawa made the ninth defense of his crown rooster of the World Boxing Council (CMB), the noquear only the first assault on the American Nestor Rocha, one of the major battles of the board of double world championship which took place this Tuesday night at the World Memorial Hall, in the port city of Kobe in Japan.
Rocha had decided to get a positive result in his first world title fight, but was quickly decrypted with a powerful combination of hands, topped with a lot of power left, which sent him to the canvas for the first time.
The Californian made the attempt to continue the duel, but Hasegawa was not very long walk and again sent to the canvas with a series of stunning blows. With this result, Hasegawa improved his record to 27-2, with 10 nocauts. Rocha, however, fell to 21-2, with 7 nocauts.
