another slow week!!

:(

Hey Zerwas, where you been?

You said it, another slow week. Man, where has all the boxing gone? That said, June was one of my best months. Sometimes betting-wise, too much of a good thing might not be all that good. As a fan though, I want to see some top-level fights.

Ghost, just another periodic thanks for getting the new schedule up in timely fashion!!! I really look forward to it each week. This forum really wouldn't be the same without'cha

right back at you bro
the forum has gotten even better with your excellent insight
thanks for the Simon OVER 8.5 winner yesterday
these slow weeks can be profitable, if we pick and choose carefully

I only had Fury, Chavez, Simon OVER
and it worked out nicely

Agnes vs Melligen is an interesting bout. Agnes was right in the thick of it with DeMarco but didn't have the substance. But he can box. Didn't he beat Acosta or lose closely?

Yeah, that boxrec thing is annoying. I use 4 different places but only one has the bullshit. Unbelievably annoying.

Yeah, Adjaho lost to Acosta by split decision, plus he had Acosta down twice. In hindsight that's a pretty damn good result. That fight was at 130 though, and this fight with Melligen is at welter.

Hey Zerwas, where you been?

...mostly watching the world cup!

Great game yesterday!!! :0074

Borat (or Arslan) looks very beatable to me, he hasnt fought in years....the best thing he can hope for is that his opponents runs from him (unaware that he'snt so dangerous) and wears himself down...

Apparently Mendy is fighting Bika on July 31 on the Marq/Diaz card so his fight over the weekend was more than likely canceled. Bika/Mendy-not a bad matchup at all :0074

Odds are out on 5d for Arslan-Herelius.

Herelius -170 Arslan +130

Surprising line. I expected Herelius to be a clear dog. I know Arslan hasn't fought in a while, but he's the home guy, the promoted guy.

I already have small bet on Arslan.
There are too many forces will be working against Herelius. I think Arslan will stay on his feet for 12 rounds and will take decison.

Salam out of Prizefighter, replaced by Carl Drake.

geez, they really scraped the bottom of the barrel this time.

The last prizefighter was awesome, but I've never heard of any of these guys this time out.

Hell of an undercard for the Marquez-Diaz fight!

Daniel Jacobs vs. Dmitry Pirog
Robert Guerrero vs. Joel Casamayor
Jorge Linares vs. Rocky Juarez
Sakio Bika vs. Jean Paul Mendy

All four of these are probably better than the main event!

That is an EXCELLENT card. I mentioned this a few weeks ago and that was b4 I knew Bika/Mendy was on it. The Brit lght heavy prospest Groves is also on the card. That is a total of 6 fights I'd like to see. If the 1st few weeks in July are profitable, I'm there :0074

Hey Romi

I remember you talking about this card. Definitely get your money's worth on this one. All pretty even matchups betting-wise too. I'm most excited about the Jacobs vs. Pirog matchup. I'm surprised the fight was made, and still not sure it will come off. I don't see it happening, but I'd love to get to Vegas to see it myself. One of these days, this madjack boxing crew should organize a little meet.
