I put down a good sized wager on Antonio Diaz to beat Felix Flores at +125.

I have a feeling that Diaz is the type of fighter who had to take a couple of years off to reinvigorate himself.

I'm BIG on Estrada tonight. boxlocks is correct when he says soto-karass is overrated. He throws a lot of puches but mostly ineffective.

I also like Joval.

For saturday im taking :
MARGARITO
He has the power to stop Cotto, and the chin to withstand him.

:0corn should be a great fight though either way

Cotto inside at anything over 300 is the way to go.
I respect the man but went against him on Magarito before big time on Williams.
In his write up i especially liked this :
"Cotto can ?box? better than Margarito and probably does have an edge in speed. "

Probably an edge he is on total different level speedwise.
This is a good tough fighter against a special fighter.
I have Cotto straight also at different numbers from -150 to -170 but bettingwise i like the inside option.
@weepaul
i followed the man since july last year because he was the only man i could find that was high on Thompson against Krasniqi.
He is up 200 percent since than. And he does this without risking more than 10 percent of his bankroll on one weekend. THIS A SIGN OF QUALITY AND NOT SOMETHING TO BE ASHAMED OF.
If you think alot of guys here can do this you are dreaming.
Being up 200 percent a year is not so impressive but doing it with mostly 1 percent and 1,5 percent plays is quality.

I'm on margo. I'm in conserve mode so nothing huge but I think it's an even fight and as Ive said before Cotto can dish it out but he can't really take the heat. As punch mentioned a while back, I fully expect cotto to go for the nuts the 1st time he gets cracked. These guys are taught this. The ref better be doing a good job and a simple warning isn't going to suffice. Getting away from the fight itself but I think 1 blatant shot dwn sth gets 1 pt, a 2nd shot gets a 2 pt deduct and stern warning...3rd shot and the fight should be over. I'm expecting margo to slowly wear down cotto and get him out around the 10th. This SHOULD be one great fight!

.

as a small bettor,i concur....i seldom wager large unless they`re giving the money away(mayweather/dlh...mayweather/hatton...margarito/cintronII etc)...

My point is that HE DID gamble 10% or more at the start (and I don't think he was selling his picks at the time) to get the huge numbers that you see now.

His strategy is a great strategy. To bet on live underdogs. I believe that if people had the balls and money to bet $5,000 on every underdog that has a shot, you could make a lot of money inside a year. There are upsets just about every week in boxing and it only takes a 6 to 1 shot to wipe out 6 bad bets.

The guy knows his stuff but I don't believe he has more knowledge about boxing than some others on this forum.

I bet on Thompson against Krasniqi and I didn't need "the man" to do this. I still lost the bet as I was dumb and greedy enough to bet Thompson on points.

I also made money betting on Williams to beat Margarito but I will still be betting Margarito this weekend. Styles make fights.

Anyone with a passion and a love for boxing can make money over time and they don't need a "Guru"to do this for them.

As I say I'm not trying to bash the guy but I am also not going to bash the guys on this forum by saying that "the man" is better than them because I believe that is complete horseshit.

Evan knows his stuff and his formula works for him the same as Romi, Garden, Punch, Box, Sponge, Janitor and a bunch of others know their stuff and make money also.

Good luck.

I never understood why Tony was so impressed with "the man" just b/c he liked Thompson over Krasniqi. I remember the week perfectly, gardenweasel and I both posted that we were on Thompson, but Tony comes in a few days later saying he finally found someone who likes Thompson. I guess he either missed our posts or he doesn't think very highly of me. I know he likes weasel and trusts his judgement, but he sure didn't show it that week...lol

That being said, Tony is a great boxing brain and a class act, I just didn't understand why he had to outsource on that fight when the play on Thompson was posted here from the start

im not involved in that Frankie. Thong is Weasels guy. Weasel called the guy in. Guy seems to know his stuff. Next thing you know weasel will be calling in that baseball capper "biggaycapper" or whatever his name is. Frankie im not a big fan of the pecker.
