On a much more serious note, Marco Nazareth died of his injuries from his fight with Omar Chavez. From what I read last Sunday, I thought the kid was going to be ok. I really hate to see stuff like that occur. RIP Marco.

I know we're not supposed to advertise for sportsbooks on this site, but there's one that's actually a betting exchange (where you directly exchange bets with other bettors), and it needs more boxing bettors for the boxing section to work effectively. At an exchange, you cut off the books' usual juice. For example, if a fight at some book is -220 for the fave, +180 for the dog, at the betting exchange, you can get -200 on the fave, +200 on the dog. This betting exchange is very responsive to requests, and they've begun offering more boxing odds. The only problem is that there aren't a ton of boxing bettors at the site. If more people move to the site, there will be two-way action, and everyone will get better odds than you can get anywhere else. The site's name is the same as the type of booklet that contains items for lighting your cigarette.

Betting exchange is a good idea. I used to use one a long time ago but rarely I saw a good price because there were very few bettors on boxing. But if we all open accounts in one betting exchange, I think we can help each other occasionally which is not bad.
I still can't figure out what the name of betting exchange A2C referring to. I am not smoker so I am need more clues :) or you can just write the name without dot com. I think it will be OK.

Wow, these 2 smiley faces are a MATCH :D :D

When I'm not betting, I do enjoy reading a good BOOK. ;)

My picks so far...

My picks so far...

Cornelius Lock +400- Small
Value play here. Speed and the southpaw stance might give Escalante some trouble. Both guys have questionable chins so this should be exciting.

Segura Vs. Jaro Under 7.5 -160 -Medium
Cancelled

Antillion Vs. Acosta Under 7.5 -160- Large
Urbano has deceptive power and applys a lot of pressure. Acosta looks in good shape, but it won't matter when he faces Antillion. Also, I wanted to add that Acosta is not a boxer mover, so he will be right there for Antillion to hit with his good left hooks and straight right to the body. I wish they had a prop of Antillion by KO becasue I would hammer that one even harder.

Good Luck Guys!

I can't believe the plus line on Lock!
I saw it as high as +400 on sportsbook!

I thought this would be listed closer to even
Lock is bigger and has fought better guys
Escalante is smaller, chinny, and has been beating total scrubs (Oliver, Stark)

I give Lock a huge chance in this fight
Yes, Escalante is in his hometown
but Lock has a lot going for him in this one

Great odds for what should be a barnburner!

The guy fighting Antillon has a bizarre record
loses three in a row (2 by KO) early in his career, but hasn't lost since
16 wins in a row, including upsets over Alfaro and Adjaho
Antillon is really good though
I wish that OVER-UNDER line was 8.5 instead of 7.5
I think I am going to have to leave that one alone

I'm on lock as well, albeit not at that crazy +400 line.

He certainly looks ready, I'm very surprised that he is that leight!

As for Antilion, he has been knocking guys out lately and very early too. Acosta has been down 2 times against Adjaho and at a lower weight, so I guess Antillion has a decent chance to put him away under 7.5!

I'm still looking at other fights...

Didn't realize Adjaho had him down twice
thank you Zerwas for pointing this info out
Adjaho, from what I saw against Demarco, is a pillow hitter compared to Urbano
this changes my mind quite a bit
thank you

New foe for Segura
"Sonny Boy Jaro of the Philippines has a visa problem and cannot travel to Mexico this weekend. His replacement will be Juanito Rubillar (46-12-7, 22 KOs) who will take on Giovani Segura in a world title bout on Top Rank?s Latin Fury 10 on Saturday night. This will be the fourth world title try for Rubillar, the most recent being last November against Edgar Sosa. Rubillar hails from Manila, Philippines. The Pay Per View fight card will begin 9 pm eastern/6 pm pacific."

Wish Top Rank could have figured this out before the odds were released!

@Kramden
And he doesnt look too small when he stands next to mayweather as well. Could be a interesting fight!

Very interesting. And if Floyd doesn't win he will lose a lot of potential earnings. He only gets paid because he wins. No one will care about him if he loses.Or at least not as much.
