Mezaache -170- Small
I think he wins the rematch here. He has improved with his boxing skills and higher punch output. Also, he will have lots of confidence boxing at home coming off his big win over Jon Thaxton.

M'Baye vs Lynes Over 9.5 -215- Small
Lynes is not a puncher and M'Baye seems to have lost his good workrate and drive.

Chebah vs. Munoz Under 7.5 -120- Large
Munoz looks way out of his league here. I think he will overwhelmed because of his inexperience fighting at the next level up.

Ragosina vs. Ramsey Over 9.5 -185- Small
Ramsey is tough and has never been stopped and Ragosina isn't fighting Iva Weston. I see this one going the distance.
Very well done fella's!!!

Yashiro made an amazing comeback in the first fight with Miura. Yashiro was down in the fifth, and worse was to follow because he looked out of the fight when a body shot dropped him in the seventh, but he rallied and swept the last three rounds, and he was dominating Miura at the finish. Yashiro is the better boxer but Miura can really punch, as Kramden noted. Yashiro might be warier this time. He now knows just how dangerous Miura can be. If Yashiro doesn't get caught by a big punch he can box his way to a decision ... but it's a big if. I would make Yashiro a slight favourite and I lean towards him a little bit, but he will have to be on full alert at every moment.

Tyvm , I am rooting for Yashiro then ... by decision :D

careful - don't get greedy on the props when you've got reasonable straight up numbers to work with. Yashiro ran a past sturdy opponent perfectly into a punch and stopped him

McCarter Wins by Decision over Raika

Las Vegas
(JULY 4) Last night in Las Vegas, Nevada, Layla McCarter won by a 10-round unanimous decision over Japan's Fujin Raika. More details to follow with photos.
from http://www.womenboxing.com/index.html

My concern is that this little news blurb lists it as a 10 round decision. This is what I was worried about.

My McCarter play is a winner, but I am going to get screwed on my OVER 11.5 play. I wish these things would get clarified beforehand.

But, hey...nobody cares about women's boxing but me.
Regardless, McCarter wins!

Excellent work Matt, but it looks as though we all had a decent Friday. :)

I'm on Chambers, the weight is absolutely sensational for him...frankly, I didnt think he would come in that leight. I also think this fight goes over 8 and 9 rounds! Chambers wont be stopped IMO, so I hope that one of those bets hits (1.25 Units each).

I also like Miura (1 Unit), and Graf to win under 9.5 (+285) for half a unit.

Congrats Matt, very nice bets!!!

I only had one on Mbaye vs Lynes over 9 1/2, today I am on Chambers and on the over 8,9 rounds as I got some nice odds.

@ Zerwass, I took the +285 on Graf under too, I hope his is going to work but anyway a value bet. :toast:

Regarding Miura are there still any lines available? As I can?t find any.

Good luck to all of us for tonight :0corn

Well, I like it when everyone wins but the bookies.

The "Fast" Chambers Vs. "Sascha" Dimitrenko is a tough fight to pick. I like the over, but the price is too high for heavyweights. Chambers weight is great, but he consistently underperforms based on all his talent. Dimitrenko is limited in skills compared to Chambers, but he does have good footwork and a powerful left hook. Therefore, I think it could go either way 50-50, but it will be an interesting fight.

If anyone has a link for this fight, please share it like you guys always do. Unfortunatly, there is no US TV.

Good luck tomorrow guys.

"the bunker"
i broke down and took a whack at eddie at +260....main reason is that, although a very big man, dimitrienko doesn`t strike me as particularly strong...not the type of guy that will impose his will on an opponent....

but graham made an excellent point about his body work(and the uppercut is pretty nice to boot)...

if he were as physical at that height as the klitschko`s, he woukd basically BE the klitschko`s... honestly,as far as foot movement and variety of punches,he may have more all around tools than the klitschko`s...

but,he doean`t have the strength or the discipline to stand outside behind that height and reach...

the guy has talent....but i suspect he`ll get overwhelmed by the more talented,bigger/stronger guys(witness his struggle vs hoffman)...

it`s ashamed..

isn`t it weird how we`re having such a resurgence of white heavyweights from europe?....i mean, they`re dominating the heavyweight landscape....

i remember when a decent caucasian fighter was considered a "great white hope"...basically,white fighters(heavyweights in particular) were a running joke...

even though the u.s(vegas) is still the boxing hub of the world, the real talent is coming from germany/the u.k./russia/south america and asia....

interesting how life, sports, etc moves in cycles...

Does anybody know if there will be a live link to Dim/Chambers today? Too bad none of the networks picked it up. Then again you never know which Chambers is going to show-Fat or Fast.

Add Moreno/Monshi to this post. Any links would be appreciated.

Dimintrenko now @-270! You guys really think Chambers is going to pull this off? I don't know. I think a younger version of Chris Byrd wins this and makes the Ukrainian look like an amateur but I don't put Chambers in Byrds league. Byrd had stones and very good ability. Chambers is kind of like Clottey in that he doesn't possess the ability to climb to the mountain top. I'm considering betting more on Dimentrenko. Chambers HAS to start fast and win the early rounds and i think he will but I do think he folds late in the fight. Close rds are going to Dim in Germanay. Just my .02. Good luck everybody.

Matt is on fire right now. Who are you taking Matt?

Sorry I am staying away from this one, but if you put a gun to my head I would pick Dimitrenko. The fights in Germany and it should be close and Dimitrenko might get a few more of the close rounds with the crowd behind him. But with Chambers good weight, maybe he can fight a little more consistent with his jab and faster combinations. Speed kills and if he can use it the whole night, he will win. The problem is Chambers has never fought that way yet. Really tough call and I wish there was a link to this fight. :banghead:

I'm here Romi
in and out today with family and the holiday

RESULT
Graf goes distance, barely wins SD in Germany

:scared
Unified WIBF/GBU female super flyweight champion Alesia Graf (24-1, 9 KOs) barely retained her regalia with a ten-round split decision over American Terri Lynn Cruz (17-6-2, 8 KOs): 96-93, 94-95, 95-94. Graf was down after an overhand right by Cruz in round six and was wobbling around till the end of the next round, digging deep to survive through the American?s fiery attacks.
