Odd ending.
Williams got his ass kicked from rounds 4 to 9.
Then he pushed Daws in the 10th had him worried, he won that round and his corner pulls him out.
I wouldn't mind if they did that a coupple rounds earlier but this seemd odd.
And he was just 1 round down on two cards???!!!

weird.
he could have won the fight.

Congrats Romi!

Thx...good luck this week!

So far just had today's wager and a parlay tomorrow. A lot of options but nothing really grabs me.

Good luck on Molina for those that took him! I still may put a small wager on it. I honestly don't think much of either guy but Molina has a tremendous ht advant and he's probably the harder puncher. I think it's a pic em but @ decent + odds, I see the value. He didn't impress me v Honorio but perhaps he had an off night.

Didn't see whole thing but tuned in for the 10th and he had an excellent round. Perhaps he could have made something happen. His surrender was strange, indeed.

The corner likely misread the fight

The corner likely misread the fight

I think the corner probably felt that Williams was too far behind to win, and he had two cuts, but this looked a closer fight than the TV commentary suggested. With the fight very tight on the judges' cards, if Williams could only have kept punching for six more minutes he could have edged out a win or got a draw. You can never be sure how the judges have a fight. I think the commentators fell in love with Daws a bit. I thought Daws was up 96-94. If it had been Daws and not Williams who got busted up, things might have been different, but that's boxing. The referee Ian John-Lewis clearly thought there was nothing in the fight; when the Williams corner told him they were retiring their man it looked to me as if the ref was practically telling the corner in so many words: "Don't pull your guy out, he can win this!" Very strange indeed.

Bernabe looks strong

Bernabe looks strong

lopez_y_concepcion2.jpg

Appearances can be deceiving but he looks rugged as hell. Perhaps he's on the Alex Arizza program. hmmm.

JuanMa is talented but he brawls and gets hit. Bernabe is strong and rugged. In truth, JaunMa has never faced anyone this rugged. Could be a tough night. The way the odds inflated on Lopez, Bernabe geting no respect. After looking at things, I'd say he's a bit live.

Saul Alvarez (32-0-1, 24 KOs) and Luciano Cuello (26-1, 12 KOs) both weighed in at 150.4 for their fight on Saturday night at the Arena VFG in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. In response to Cuello?s claim that Alvarez has never been touched and he will blacken both ?Canelo?s? eyes, Alvarez stated, ?I just hope you can talk after the fight.? The bout can be seen on WBCboxing.tv.

Lundy up 3-0 and making it look easy...Molina making him look better than he is. Molina has several inches in ht on him and Lundy picking him apart from the outside. Molina going to need to adjust here to get in this. To be honest, I'll be shocked if Molina could pull this off.
