Anyone have a prognostication here? Judah has been in with EVERYBODY, but, he is unpredictable. Clottey is not the greatest technician we have ever seen, but he is durable, if nothing else. I see Judah as a slight favorite here, with a round prop like over 10.5 or so. I think Romi feels Clottey will be the chalk, not sure. Nothing in Vegas yet. Punchy and myself will be checking the Palms to see if they hang up their own #. I think they will as a matter of pride. They are excited about holding this fight there. Maybe Sonny P. will pass by and voice an opinion.

Yea box, you may be right, but I hope you aren't! I am going to aggravate Todd tomorrow at the Palms regarding the number. Nice prediction on the Arreola line move. It did'nt just move, it was shot out of a freakin cannon! The Marquez fight was one of the most enjoyable in a long time. I think Abraham beats him too.

Frankie, I'm thinking maybe don't advertise an oddsmaker line or mistake here in Vegas. Why wouldn't someone just read this, make a trip to the casino and put a pile of cash and change the number before you get to it. Unless your putting $$ before you post the line here- just a thought.

I understand completely. Even if a guy loads up, that isn't to say he loaded up on the right side. I thought about this and felt in the interest of being a team player, and trying to make this a TRULY collective endeavor, I ran with it. Of course there are a bunch of snakes out there who would'nt give a guy an ice cube in the winter. I am aware of the ramifications of what I am posting. But thanks for looking out just the same!

I think you people really overestimate the impact of a posting forum. I think our $500 max wagers are meaningless in the big picture of things. There are 1000 boxing forums out there that discuss fights in alot more detail than we do here.

I would imagine that Clottey will be slightly favored. I hope not, though. I think Judah is a diminishing entity. Clottey stronger and steadier. I could see a stoppage win here for Clottey.:0corn

m....i`m pretty sure that boxlocks moves the lines at 5 dimes when he posts a play...

maybe "HE" doesn`t move it...but alot of people follow him .....apparently enough to move the number...

i`ve seen it happen so many times it can`t be a coincidence....

truthfully,i don`t get it....the guy`s nothing more than a tofu eating, cafe latte drinking metrosexual...

Anyone that bets 5dimes moves the line. With the low limits they make everyone's plays feel/look significant.

I made a max wager at SB(500) and the line moved a short time later. Try that here in Vegas. Now that casino companies have merged, you are betting into lines posted at 10 books or more at a time. If a guy is a whale and bets 20 dimes or more, he doesn't need a mook like me to tell him what to do. Pinnacle probably takes in more sports bets than the majority of books here in Vegas. Lets not forget the net is GLOBAL. At any rate, I'll post what the f**k I want. If it contributes to the forum, then that's the point.

5Dimes is a pain in the ass with every damn fight being circled and big line movement for every c-note wagered.

Do you know why the conservative stance 5dimes has taken with boxing?

Very true...but ever since that Cortez' bullsh*t I've developed a bit of a mean streak. I quit shaving my legs and I haven't had my eyebrows waxed since Demarcus Corely came by for that "sparring session" a few weeks ago. I even cancelled my Victoria 's Secret credit card :scared

Swung by the Palms today. Nothing on this yet. Word is line goes up 2-3 weeks prior. Boring! No line as far as I know on Marquez-Casamajor either.

totally boring

i would have thought as the host they would have a line by now

i can understand other casinos not having till a week or two before the fight

but if its a title fight in your hotel

put a line up already! it helps promote the fight!

Believe, I try! Bunch of nervous jerky little bitches. Even the big guys, MGM-Mirage, don't have a line on Marquez-Casamajor. When they hosted a fight it was they hung up a # forthwith, even months down the road. You are so right. Nothing but a bunch of slack-jawed louts.:nono:

zab doesn`t appear to carry his power into the higher weight classes...and he couldn`t handle carlos baldomir`s pressure.....

so,i doubt,2 1/2 years later,a judah that`s shown severe slippage and little mental toughness will be able to handle a guy that does what baldomir does better than baldomir......brings even more to the table...

and is on quite a bit of a roll...

what are the chances that judah can keep his head on straight and box for 12 rounds vs this caliber of opposition?...the consistent pressure?...

i gotta lean clottey here..by lean i mean like the leaning tower of pisa...
