Since we have no thread for the weekend and some other fights are discussed here, what do you think about Gomez Adamek 5dimes has +150 for over 6.5.

Gomez has never been stopped, I could only see a stoppage where the referee decides that Gomez has taken enough punishment, so probably no early stoppage here...
I have never seen Gomez though.

Opinons!?

I saw it at 4.5 on another site and i liked that a lot more. i think gomez def makes over 4.5

6.5 though.....ehhhhh....that's probably about right

i'm gonna guess that gomez makes it just over that

just a guess

good luck

Still no line in Vegas on Clottey or Marquez. Bunch of chicken shits! I am embaressed to say I live here sometimes. I'm out $100 in gas already driving to these damn books. I think the opening lines were fair but now they are scary.

total chicken shits

hey frank how do you think the line will compare in vegas? i agree...those lines have gotten too scary now.

i know when i've bet in vegas, I've gotten better lines (at times). the internet lines tend to be move faster and higher i find.

one thing i am very curious about is what vegas will set the over/under at for the judah fight. I've seen it online for 9.5 and 11.5. that's a huge difference.

guess time will tell!

good luck to everyone this weekend.

i'm making small plays on thompson and santos.

and i really like the santos/alcine over.

I am betting Cruz to beat Angel Huerta at +400. I think Huerta gets overated since his great showing against Kid Diamond.

I also have a $100 throw away bet on the ladies. Achieng to beat Ragosina at +3000. I won't be surprised if this bet loses in the first round but you never know with the ladies.

Ghost-I've got my homie working on the MGM-Mirage to stop sitting on their hands and move on Marquez. I think he opens -200 in Vegas. If so it's decent enough. I also think we get a better price on Clottey, if he is your choice. The total with Judah is a toughie maybe. He is faster than Margarito so he may not get hit as much by Clottey the way Clottey was tagging Margarito so it should go over 9.5.

I love it...thanks for the info bro

i think clottey - judah goes 9.5, but 11.5 is a different story

i know clottey's not a big KO guy, but I think he wears zab down and out by 11.5

vegas is all about the ufc these days

hard to find early boxing lines, but i'm sure in the next few weeks caesars, the mirage, etc. will have lines on both these fights

when they do, I'm bringing the cash !

also can't believe calzaghe is (only) -330

i don't give roy a chance in hell !

Well, at this point, taking all that I can into consideration, I like Clottey-225 at sportsbook. Judah should score early as he is prone to do, so a Lederman prop-winner after 3 rounds should be Judah; winner after 3 loses fight-yes. Clottey is a junk yard dog and wants that juicy piece of meat. Don't know if Judah will get stopped, assuming Clottey is victorious. Just think it's Clottey's time to shine. That's my play, case closed!

i'm still very curious as to where the vegas casinos open this up at. I would be prepared for Clottey to be -250, but would be ecstatic if it was anywhere close to -200.

I have seen very different lines in vegas in the past (particularly with over-under bets).

also I'm thinking its possible a little zab money comes in late, as he is the bigger name to the general public.

guess i will just have to wait and see.!

The retard that I am I am AGAIN going to the Palms/Caesars tommorow to check once more! I know the guy at the Palms and I am pretty sure he is checking the off-shores to get a feel for what is going on. We'll see eventually.

Well, I'll be dipped in s**t! Palms posted a # for Judah-Clottey. Clottey-280; +220 back . Caesars has Clottey-250. I was right. Palms is a bunch of punk-ass-bitches. Can't believe it. They are hosting the fight and the line is up off-shore 2 weeks before them. Pitiful. There are no more real bookmakers in Vegas. Bean counting mutts.

that palms line is absurd!

unbelievable. looks like its caesars for me.

frank, you gonna throw down or wait?

i'm wondering if that caesars line moves down just a tad (on zab's name).

i guess i'll throw down at -250. really was hoping for closer to -200. but what can you do.

Sportsbook has Clottey-225. $500 max though. They are a sponsor here and reliable. I have had an account there for years. No book is perfect but they are legit. But maybe you already knew that. I may hit Clottey again. A guy I know says the Plaza downtown hangs up all sorts of boxing #'s but I don't know personally. If I run down there and I see something I shall report.

....

....

Sbook pays but right now isn't really the time to tout them. They don't have a processor you won't get paid for a long ass time if you want your $$$ out. I don't worry about the $$$ I have in there but it will be a while before they can do payouts.

much appreciated frank.

thanks for the tip on sportsbook.com I'll take the line there, but I would like to bet a bit more than their limit.

so I will be hitting the strip in the next week or so. I will check some other hotels and try to report here as well. I've found good lines in the past at Planet Hollywood. but they have a small sportsbook and don't always have lines up early.

hopefully i can help dig something up for us.

frank

checked the strip today, up and down

went downtown to the plaza (which does have a lot of boxing lines) clottey was -260 there

i settled on -240 at the mgm

mgm also has the over/under set at 11.5...which thrills me

i think clottey can get it done before then

Thanks for the report ghost. It's so freakin hot I don't do all the legwork sometimes. I am not "touting" any book. They just had the best line, and it is true, they are choking my chicken trying to get a nickel from them. They tell me I am a VIP customer, but it doesn't mean jack. I won't try and pull my $ out, but I ain't holding my breath either waiting for a check! Also be advised my bank is charging me a "foreign fee" of 3% of credit deposit each deposit. SB is discussing to see if they will credit my account the fee.

My point was it doesn't matter if they have the best line or not until they are paying again. You called them "reliable". How "reliable" is a book that can't pay for months? A lot of people who play at these books can't wait months and months like some can. If you tell most people that is it's going to take them MONTHS to get a payout, they aren't going to play at that place.

Just to clarify sportsbook has not been a sponsor here at madjacks for two years (going on three) now.

good luck with your wagers.

I was under the impression, mistakenly then, that sportsbetting.com and SB.com were just mirrors of one another. Lots of books are really one and the same just with different names. Thanks for the correction. I don't mention books here that aren't sponsors. My bad.

I'm contemplating to open an account at sports.com, which is a -like sportsbook- owned by Jazette Enterprises Limited...but I'm not so sure anymore...

Would you recommend it!?
