Don't feel bad my bro. I'll come clean; I bought off my Clottey wager. Everytime I bet aganist weepaul I get the poop end of the stick. Ghost likes Clottey and I understand why. Zab MAY have one good fight left in him. As I said at the start of this thread, Zab has fought everybody. He doesn't stay focused the whole fight. He is still quite fast for a guy who has been smacked around real good. I like the Zab+175 first 3. I might take him +1.5-150 after 4 also. NO knockdowns and he has to win 2/4 based on 10pt. must. He can do this.

the weigh in results are:

judah 143

clottey 147

it's odd to see a guy 4 lbs below the limit and with clottey reputed to be a massive weight cutter, i can't help but see him wearing the mentally fragile judah down.

I'm sticking this out fellas for better or worse

I'm on Clottey

I think he can stop him late or win a a UD

but I COMPLETELY understand the Judah hedge bets

Zab looks to be in good shape

good luck to everyone

hope I don't regret this one Sunday morning !

we agree,pardner.....i was gung ho on clottey initially...i just thought his defense, steadiness and toughness(mental) would eventually wear down judah...

i can still steal a nice payout if judah is ahead after 3 and folds...

if clottey wins i win a smaller play than anticipated...but,i`ll take it..

we see judah time and again fail when he steps up...but,with that sneaky power, the lefty stance, the quicks, and a bit of urgency in this fight, theres just enough doubt to get me to reel in a bit....

if indecision were bricks on this one,i`d be the great wall of china...

balls to the wall, clottey takes judah`s heart late and pulls a decision out......

i can`t understand why, when i guy gets cut...even on the lid.......and theres not enough swelling to close the eye....why fighters can`t see once the blood is cleaned off and out of the eye....

if it were a massive headbutt that discumbobulated the guy, then o.k...

but, that cut was caused by a grazing uppercut....

the ref,honestly,had no choice...judah either couldn`t see...or he quit....

once he tells the ref he can`t see,it`s over...

well, sorry that n.j. got hosed there....

Ah Frankie,

Please don't say this Brother. I expected Clottey to win but bet Zab due to the odds.

I had a HUGE bet on Darchinyan that I was sure would win.

The Vic bet would more than cover a Judah loss. This is the only reason I bet Zab.

Don't let me influence your choices.

Take care, Paul.

I have a question concerning the rules.
I thought a round has to be completed to be included in the scoring, so I was a little surprised to see that they scored round 9...btw, I guess otherwise the fight would have been a draw (too bad for me actually) and maybe that wasnt in their interest...pure speculation from my part...anybody know the rules!?

But still a pretty good week courtesy of the judah round props...!

What Judah did was intentionally mislead the Doctor.

Here's how it happened: The doc held up 2 fingers and asked Judah how many fingers am I holding up. Judah replied 3, knowing that was incorrect and the doc would have no choice but to call the fight when he got the wrong answer. :nono:

The bout was close but Judah was sinking fast and he knew it and didn't want to go out like that - via KO.

i pretty much agree with everything said there,kramden...spot on...

zerwas....as far as i know, they`ve always scored the incomplete round in fights that are stopped due to accidental/ incidental circumstances...

ok,...I was just wondering because they have this rule that a fight has to go 4 complete rounds to go to the scorecards...but your probably right.

Clottey was getting to him quite a bit, but I must say I was impressed with judah...he certainly put up a good fight.

i thought it was close as hell...wouldn`t have shocked me if they`d given it to judah....

that incomplete round was obviously very big...

Clottey was lucky that they did not use the rules from the past.
In the past, they deducted a point from the guy who caused the headbutt, accidental or not and then went to the scorecards.:scared

Those comments are SPOT ON. Zab was going to get stopped and he knew it so he opted for the easy out..."3 fingers"...BULLSHT. Clottey was getting to him and you got to knock the reffing once again. Zab told the ref he was butted and the ref went w/it. It was CLEARLY the uppercut that opened him up. Zab was wilting under the pressure and w/the added cut it was highly unlikely he would have finished. It was close but IMO Clot clearly deserved the nod and would have been a travesty had Zab somehow gotten the dec (with the ref blowing the butt call). To me Zab proved the typical thug he is by claiming the cut was caused by a butt yet Max called him on it w/the replay and he had little to say. Sorry to the Zab backers but that's the way I saw it.

Lederman explained this. They always score the round up till the point of the stopage, incomplete or otherwise. What headbutt? I actually thought Judah may have been ahead. It was hard to score. He got cut by a punch, so if he can't continue, he is the loser. He just could'nt hurt Clottey it seemed, but as Kellerman said, he was really trying. I soon expexct to ole Zabby dealing blackjack at one of the strip casinos very soon!
