My picks so far...

My picks so far...

Malcolm Klassen +120- Medium
Klassen is fighting at his natural weight coming off an impressing TKO win the 5' 10" Cassius Baloyi. The Ghost has looked hesitant and a bit one dimensional in last two fights at a higher weight. Klassen figures out the Ghost style and out works Guerrero over 12 rounds.

Jacobs vs. Smith Over 9.5 +130- Medium
Smith is moving up in weight but he has a good chin and defence to make it through the hard punching Jacobs. Jacobs should out work the punch conserving Smith over ten rounds.

Any thought on Kuziemski +300 over Braehmer???

Good luck guys! :00x30

I am going with Guerrero too. Klassen too short for Guerrero and first time out of South Africa.
Also I like over on Jacobs vs Smith fight. I re watch Julio vs Smith and Smith never was hurt in that fight, size wise he looked one or two weight classes bigger then Julio and actually was the one who finish strongly and more importantly he was kind of surprised when he heard decision not going his way. I am thinking Jacobs for the first time in the real fight. I still think he will win by close decision.
i hate to do it, but i'm gonna go with Guerrero

+130 on the jacobs/smith over is a bargain...good job matt. I missed the fcking opening and didnt see the odds til late. I took it at -130. Instead of winning a potential 650, I can only win 380:( . I dont like the fact that smith is moving up being a 154 lber for most of his career and going in with a very strong and big middleweight. But Smith is very cagey and he knows his way around the ring. I thinks Jacobs wins a dec. If Jacobs gets him out then it will be VERY impressive.

I also have the over on Stieg/Balzay 9 1/2 -220. Stieg was VERY tough against a very determined and strong Andrade. I just hope that fight didn't take too much out of stieg. I see it going rds.

Small wager on Kuz to beat Braehmar +430. Kuz doesnt have much pop but Braemar is not an elite fighter. The German was soundley beaten by Garay who lost to Campillo. Speculative bet and not likely to hit but certainly worth a stab @ +430.

I thought about Klassen but read recently that Guererro got in some good sparring with mosley. Guerrero is beatable and has looked less than in his last few. I'm not sure how good Klassen is but I'd have to say he's live.

Sergey Gulaykevich 26-1(12) will fight Mexican Humberto Mauro ?Cachorrito? Gutierrez 25-1-1(19) for the Vacant WBC Interim Super Featherweight title. The two top ranked contenders will clash on 22 August in Mazatlan, Mexico.

Lots of distractions in Mazatlan apparently.

I am all over the Ghost!!

Klassen is too small.

Was looking forward to betting Thompson :scared

I might still take the new opponent as Grady is shite.

I would also bet Ishe Smith if only the Bastard would throw more punches.
He is a difficult fight for anyone and might drown Jacobs if his stamina is not up to scratch.

Good Luck All :toast: :toast: :toast:

weepaul, I agree about Smith. I desperately want to play him but can't b/c of the HBO/GBP factor and his frustratingly low output. Like Rocky Juarez, he needs hometown protection to win fights. I just posted this on another forum:

It's a trap dude, an HBO/Golden Boy card. Jacobs is an exciting and marketable young prospect, Smith is low-volume and unattractive to the general fan. NO WAY Smith gets the decision. Especially after Ortiz losing and Kirkland going to jail. Watch as Lederman cluelessly scores every round for Jabobs based on "effective aggression" despite being countered to pieces. This guy is a bozo.

Smith needs a KO and he won't get it. I agree it is a great line, but I can't imagine it winning. This is coming from the same guy who bet Collazo +475 to beat HBO's boy Andre Berto. Not to mention other network/hometown losses I've had recently: Marquez vs Pac 2 +200, Griffin vs Lacy in Florida +550, DeMarcus Corley over some undefeated guy in his hometown +350, whats-his-face to beat Sturm in Germany +400, Holyfield over Valuev by pts in Germany +1200.

If memory serves, the Ghost seemed he really did'nt want to fight anymore after the butt and cut and was looking for an out.

Adding a parlay

Adding a parlay

3-Parlay Daniel Jimenez-220+Jacobs-525+Balzsay-525-(=+106) Medium
Daniel Jimenez is the better fighter with a better chin and fighting at a much highter level of competition. Marcos Jimenez is the protected fighter that can punch but hasn't faced a good opponent yet. Jacobs wins with volume punching, hbo, and his promoter. Balzsay is faster, has the home crowd, and is a southpaw.

Malcolm Klassen +120(should of waited for a better line)- Medium
Klassen is fighting at his natural weight coming off an impressing TKO win the 5' 10" Cassius Baloyi. The Ghost has looked hesitant and a bit one dimensional in last two fights at a higher weight. Klassen figures out the Ghost style and out works Guerrero over 12 rounds.

Jacobs vs. Smith Over 9.5 +130(glad I got it early)- Medium
Smith is moving up in weight but he has a good chin and defence to make it through the hard punching Jacobs. Jacobs should out work the punch conserving Smith over ten rounds.

Good Luck Guys! :)
