I think we are screwed here. The other guy obviously could fight another round because he wasn't hurt but the doctor stopped it. The best is the commissioner or who ever he was talked about looking at it again Monday lol. Im sure my book will wait for him to check it out:mj07: . Atlas and the other announcer wanted to choke him but his word stands:mj07: .

We have a winner Gallardo wins!!
I dont know how and when but pinny has paid me already.

Rodriguez is a push or a win.
Nice start and Cazares and GSP tommorow and i am happy.

Now get yourself some of Cazares at even money or better.

5dimes has the all rodriguez bets canceled.
In fact thats good for me because my parlays with Gallardo are all alive. (inside rodriguez would be a loser) Sucks when the cut was caused by a punch though.

Finally found something :
from fightnews.

Gallardo shocks Arroyo!

Saturday, August 25 2007

Veteran Joaquin "Killer" Gallardo (18-6-1, 5 KOs) was brought in as an opponent, but Gallardo turned the tables on local favorite Lenin "El Volcano" Arroyo (17-7-1, 3 KOs) by winning a clear twelve round unanimous decision and claiming Arroyo's WBC Latin jr. welterweight title in the process on Friday night at Miccosukee Resort & Gaming in Miami, Florida. Arroyo got off to a good start, but the aggressive Gallardo stepped up his attack and swept to a deserved victory by scores of 117-111, 118-110, 116-112.

I just spent an hour looking for this result. I figured the fight would be after the girls fought:shrug: . Im gonna take your word. I had a rare bad Friday (1-3 in mlb and 1-1 in nfl)so if this is true things don't look bad at all. I will give my appreciation speech to you and Box as soon as i can confirm this. Hate when Box is silent. Thought i lost :mj07:
I went a bit overboard tonight because i think im gonna have a good Sat and Sunday. Sometimes i just never learn.

Does anybody like the dogs in Ireland? Dunne is ok but he's certainly not top level world class. He's a little chinny from what I've read. Magee is capable and has pretty good technique but he's definitely chinny having been dropped hard numerous times. Oakey is the rugged sort from what i've read but lacking in the power dept. Any comments?

Oakey to win inside rounds 7-9 and 10-12 each +4000 at bet365!!!

Actually I have no idea about this fight, but those lines seem to be way off..

Graham likes his chances, so maybe he's worth a little gamble.

you can back oakey to win on points at +460, I also played over 9 at -250 and a little draw bet, but nothing major.

I'm on Cazares too, but I also read about his struggle to make weight and that his preperation hasnt been smooth...

Just want to say that my source is also on Cazares.
A little late but it sure feels good to have him on our side.

He also advised Jiminez at even odds but now Martinez is plus 220.
That is a close fight and i have to take Martinez small at these odds only place i bet that have a line is 5dimes.

g.l.

Bad news fella's. I wonder if we got a bogus decision here.
Calderon dethrones Cazares!
By Miguel Planas at ringside
WBO strawweight champion Ivan Calderon (29-0, 6 KOs) moved up to the 108lb division to dethrone WBO mini-flyweight champion Hugo Cazares (25-4-1, 19 KOs) via twelve round split decision on Saturday night at the Coliseo Ruben Rodriguez in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. For the first seven rounds hometown favorite Calderon put on a boxing clinic, landing clean shots while avoiding Cazares' punches. Cazares finally got to Calderon and dropped him in round eight. Calderon spent round nine holding and running, but frustrated the attacks of Cazares over the last few rounds to win by scores of 115-112, 115-112 on two cards. Cazares was ahead 116-111 on the third card.

That's boxing my brother. You can have ten of the best minds picking one guy and watching him do his thing all night long, and then mysteriously lose a terrible decision. Not saying this was the case here because i would like to see it first hand to even make a comment, but to see those scores makes me wonder.

Nah no bad decision here folks. Had a bit on Cazares myself, he took 1 maybe 2 of the first 7 rounds then hurt Calderon bad in the 8th with a knockdown and for a few minutes I thought he'd get the win as Calderon was getting tired and hit more whilst backing up, Cazares won a few more late rounds but Calderon did just enough to get a close decision.

I went 0-1 this week losing on Cazares. I really wanted to put some money on Kiko after seeing a clip of him and 2 of dunne but the bets were off by then. The week could have been better but it also could have been worse. I considered wagering Gonzaga but held off. Lets go Holt!

i believe if you really push it you can call it a draw but the way calderon finished you should give him the fight.
i was hoping to hear 114 to 114 after the first two score cards.
Cazares did his thing but Calderon pulled it off this night.
BTW i stopped watching Jiminez vs Matinez after the 11 round. Jiminez was unbelievable he was hurt every 2 min and really hurt but came back with good shots. I really hope he is alright.

I'm kicking myself for not playing Martinez when he got up to +165. I'm not saying I thought he would win, I just thought it was a 50/50 fight. As a rule, I play every dog of +120 or more that I think has an even chance of winning. For some reason I stayed away from this one, probably due to Martinez' less than impressive showing against the mediocre Lorenzo. Oh well

After the Gallardo winner, I found Calderon at -105 which created a decent scalp on my Cazaras +120 play. For money management purposes I put enough on Calderon to make sure I wouldn't lose money this weekend after cashing on Gallardo. Due to the hedge, I broke even on boxing this week instead of taking a hit.

However...thanks to the solid UFC cappers we have at this forum, I made some nice cash off Cote +225 and GSP -200...and still turned a profit for the week.

If you posted this before the fight you probably save me 2000.
Most of my Gallardo money was in parlays with Cazares at really nice odds. But with my man, you and romi and me my self and i on Cazares and the under i refused to secure a big win anyway.
Not even the sleazy ,always two way thinking master of caution Mr Gardenwaesel himself had something of his usual stuff like :

You gotta like the bigger, stronger man.......but Calderon is slick i mean really slick.....but Cazares was very impressive in his last fights and Calderon has a SD latley.......I hate that weight Cazares has to lose in one week.......will it hurt him in the latter rounds ?.....i dont know.........but will it go to the latter rounds?......probably...............
this is in Puerto Rico......if its close i like Calderon....but will it be close ?........i dont know.........but it is possible........i mean a real possibility..............
they say a good big guy beats a good small guy.....Cazares is a good guy no doubts.....but maybe Calderon is a great small guy ? .....maybe................
I love the 6 inches reach advantage of Cazares.....but Calderon is not easy to hit......but what will happen if he gets hit ? ........can he take Cazares punch ?.....I dont think so.....but he is slick....really slick......................
tough fight to bet ......Cazares can knock him out...no doubt....but can he find Caldron in the ring?..........
how big is the ring anyways ?.....remember this is in Puerto Rico.....i believe the ring will be really big.....and these guys are really small......that makes the ring even bigger... ...........
but puerto ricans like brawls though they maybe have a small ring anyway....any info on the ring size would be much appreciated bros..................
tough fight to cap....really tough.................
I would love to take a look at that ring................

But nothing from the man. Sphincter you let me down on this one.

BTW boxlocks you are 5 to 1 on 1 unit bets now in your track record. I liked that 0 believe me i really do.

You notice this too? He ought to change his name to flip flopper. When he gives out a play i just bet both sides and pay the juice.:mj07:

Tony...lol...I love gw but that impression was absolutely hilarious

Btw, the Cazaras play was at +120 and therefore goes in the underdog category. I know it seems like my 5-0 record on 1 unit plays is now misleading due to the loss, but you have to remember that most of my underdog plays are risking .50 or less. Its extremely rare that I risk 1 unit on an underdog like this, in fact the only other time I can remember was Tapia +120 over Archuleta in the rematch last year.

Since I have only had two 1 unit underdogs in the last couple of years, I don't think my record on 1 unit plays is that misleading (esp since I won the Tapia play last year to cancel this one out)

Hope this makes sence
