Tony...lol...I love gw but that impression was absolutely hilarious

Btw, the Cazaras play was at +120 and therefore goes in the underdog category. I know it seems like my 5-0 record on 1 unit plays is now misleading due to the loss, but you have to remember that most of my underdog plays are risking .50 or less. Its extremely rare that I risk 1 unit on an underdog like this, in fact the only other time I can remember was Tapia +120 over Archuleta in the rematch last year.

Since I have only had two 1 unit underdogs in the last couple of years, I don't think my record on 1 unit plays is that misleading (esp since I won the Tapia play last year to cancel this one out)

Hope this makes sence

My bad,it is your track record. I simple assumed you put it into both categories, didnt noticed that they are supposed to add up to the total.
You are still 5 to 0. congratulations....and i want my money back. Just have to explain the whole thing to my bookie.

After doing some looking...

After doing some looking...

The Tapia-Archuleta rematch was 2 years ago, and I put the winner in the books as a 1 unit play instead of a dog. Like I said, this situation doesn't happen very often so I wasn't exactly sure how I handled it two years ago.

Since I posted the Tapia winner as a 1 unit play...I will stay consistent and do the same with the Cazares loser. No problem at all, the changes have already been made.

Btw, I should've posted that I was laying off most of my Cazares play after the Gallardo winner, but I still really like the play and didn't want to scare anyone off it due to my hedging. I still really liked the play, and I still recommended it with full confidence. But my betting strategy has always been strict about securing a profit once I'm up a decent amount for the week. Esp when there's a decent scalp available on the final play of the week. Most poeple don't have the same conservative betting style that I do, so I decided not to post the scalp. I really thought Cazares would get it done and none of this would matter...my bad

Yea- Whatever. Hey BITCHLOCKS. You were all over my ass for the one time I said I made a play after a fight was over Julio over Bundrage. You had the fukking nerve to make some reference about me being shady and that you knew I had time to post because you had seen me post earlier that day. And here you go again, not nearly the first time, once a fight's over oh by the way, I did this. You think your the only good boxing capper going? I can appreciate that poster who came up with Oh, Thou Great Boxlocks after seeing some of you schtick.

Obviously you still don't understand what I was "all over your ass about". It wasn't the past post you made, it was the blatant lie about the reason for the past post.

Yes, I made a past post, but I didn't come out and say that I didn't have time to post that day... when I obviously did...lol

Nice try though

"the bunker"
If you posted this before the fight you probably save me 2000.
Most of my Gallardo money was in parlays with Cazares at really nice odds. But with my man, you and romi and me my self and i on Cazares and the under i refused to secure a big win anyway.
Not even the sleazy ,always two way thinking master of caution Mr Gardenwaesel himself had something of his usual stuff like :

You gotta like the bigger, stronger man.......but Calderon is slick i mean really slick.....but Cazares was very impressive in his last fights and Calderon has a SD latley.......I hate that weight Cazares has to lose in one week.......will it hurt him in the latter rounds ?.....i dont know.........but will it go to the latter rounds?......probably...............
this is in Puerto Rico......if its close i like Calderon....but will it be close ?........i dont know.........but it is possible........i mean a real possibility..............
they say a good big guy beats a good small guy.....Cazares is a good guy no doubts.....but maybe Calderon is a great small guy ? .....maybe................
I love the 6 inches reach advantage of Cazares.....but Calderon is not easy to hit......but what will happen if he gets hit ? ........can he take Cazares punch ?.....I dont think so.....but he is slick....really slick......................
tough fight to bet ......Cazares can knock him out...no doubt....but can he find Caldron in the ring?..........
how big is the ring anyways ?.....remember this is in Puerto Rico.....i believe the ring will be really big.....and these guys are really small......that makes the ring even bigger... ...........
but puerto ricans like brawls though they maybe have a small ring anyway....any info on the ring size would be much appreciated bros..................
tough fight to cap....really tough.................
I would love to take a look at that ring................

But nothing from the man. Sphincter you let me down on this one.

BTW boxlocks you are 5 to 1 on 1 unit bets now in your track record. I liked that 0 believe me i really do.

ouch.....lol.....

tony...well done.......love a sense of humor...only,you`re encouraging spongy...

he can`t resist chiming in about his idol...and that probably takes valuable time away from his livlihood(cleaning the fry-o-later at the local Wendy`s)....

i had some issues this week...a lower level flood when the condensation line on my central air conditioning clogged.....and a glass table top on my deck shattered into a million pieces....having pets,it took several days to dig out every shard from between the planks with a high powered garage vac and two butter knives.....

a bad week....

My question for you BL, is if Cazares had won, would you still had come out and said I hedged with Calderon. I'm not so sure that you don't kid yourself and the board once in a while.
Did you count your parlay action with Jhonny Gonzalez at -1200 with your numbers? Think about it- Hey Everybody, I'm putting a full unit on Cazares. Cazares loses. Hey everybody, I put money on Calderon to cover?????? And it's the punchmaster that's shady. See if you can comprehend this logic- I'm traveling for business-and have to pop into a coffeeshop for wireless to get my boxing on. I do some posting. I see a line I like and get down on it. I look at the clock and realize I'm going to miss my damn flight and it's not worth missing a flight . By the time I get home fight's over. And you just know for sure my schedule and how much time I had? :00x16

Anyways this is a waste and I'm done, I don't want to put any bad karma on what generally is a good succesful board, which is why I posted on a past thread. If you started this whole boxing at Madjacks and want to be King with all the rules- be my guest. We're all going to make money.

What kind of question is that, I put a value on my posted parlays just like any other play, why wouldn't I count them.

Go back and look at my total from the week before the Gonzalez fight, then add up the +/- from the Gonz week and see if the numbers match up. This little tip will keep you from asking dumb questions in the future.

punchy...if I thought I was "the only good boxing capper going" as you posted above...

Why did I invite over a dozen of the best boxing guys I know from other websites to join the already solid group we have here?

Cazares-Calderon

Cazares-Calderon

I don't owe anyone here an explanation, but I will explain the Cazares-Calderon situation a little better for the other posters I respect around here.

I made the following wagers...

Gallardo over Arroyo +145...layed $105 to win 150

Cazares over Calderon +120...layed $500 to win 600

Calderon over Cazares -105...layed $370 to win 350

As you can see, I was still risking $150 to win $230 on Cazares. Had he won I would've banked $380 for the week which is fine with me. But since Cazares didn't get it done, I lost my $150 profit from the Gallardo winner and broke even for the week

Btw, not long ago I posted a scale of my $$$ amounts per posted units. In that scale a $150 to $230 wager was in the .75 unit range, which is just below the 1 unit play I posted on Cazares.
