good catch on Gonzalez, line has moved down to +135 at 5dimes.

I'm contemplating a little wager on Tarver myself.

The Ruiz-Valuev over also looks very solid.

"the bunker"
i grabbed tarver at +230....why not?....

wish i knew more about cloud....i`ve seen gonzales look amzingly tough and persistent....and i`ve seen him look pretty pedestrian vs certain styles....

it`s scary that 42 year old reggie johnson came back after sitting in his rocking chair for 3 years and beat him...

that said, cloud doesn`t appear to be a slick boxer like johnson...based on his record,he seems to be a puncher(17 k.o.`s in 18 wins).....and he`s never been forced to see the 6th round....

gonzales has never been stopped,so he may force cloud into uncharted waters...

home court goes to cloud...

......that +220/280 would clinch a wager on gonzales for me,too....+135?.....not so sure...

i`m gonna ponder this one a bit...

it does look to be a very fan friendly fight(i remember gonzales in that war vs the late julian letterlough...whoa!)......

Good news...Sportsbetting update...

Good news...Sportsbetting update...

Just thought I'd let you all know that Sportsbetting is still paying out, small amounts anyway. I requested a withdrawal for $900 on 7/30 evening and received it this morning 8/4. Took just 4 days to process and deliver...very nice

1) If you withdraw more than $1,000 at a time it might take longer, I'm not sure. Doesn't matter to me b/c I always withdraw $900 at a time, don't want any red flags or questions at the bank when its time to cash, $900 flies under the radar everytime. You get 1 free withdrawal per month ($500 minimum) so why not withdraw small amounts every month instead of setting up a 5 or 10 grand withdrawal and sweating it for months. You can withdraw almost 12 grand a year by taking out $990 a month
2) I'm not sure if sportsbook/playersonly/sports are still under the same umbrella as sportsbetting. It may be that sportsbetting is still paying out, but sportsbook is not, I don't know

3) The reason I put most of my bankroll into sportsbetting is their higher limitsm they use 1,000/500 on sides/totals as opposed to the 500/250 at the sister books listed above. All these books open Joey's weekly lines, but sportsbetting doubles the limits. Unfortunately, the last couple weeks, sportsbetting has been late hanging the openers. I hope that doesn't continue as I want the higher limits, but if it continues I'll be forced to pull out most of my cash and put it into their sister sites...playersonly or sportsbook...who still hang the openers on time

Not much going on in boxing this week.

Fernandez to beat Oubaali (Small) at +700. This is stricly a boxrec bet. From the clips I have seen, both guys are shite. Fernandez has fought most of his fights at 140 with a couple of fights at 147 and 154.
Oubaali has fought most of his fights at 130 with a few at 126.
This fight is at 140. I am betting on the bigger guy at +700.

If the odds come down a bit, I will bet Tavoris Cloud. I have thought Gonzalez was a bit shopworn for the last few years.
It does bother me that Cloud has never been past 5 rounds.

All the big bets are on UFC this week.

Good luck all.

I watched the Cloud Herrera fight yesterday, and I must say I was mildly impressed by Cloud.

With his ko record I thought he would be a pure slugger/puncher, but he can actually box decently....his defence and his movement isnt bad either. It's not easy to tell from a 5 round fight, but if his stamina is any good though...but he fought at a good pace for the first 5 rounds.

The fight is in Clouds hometowns, so this is quite a heavy task for Gonzalezs....

Payouts at Sportsbook.com

Payouts at Sportsbook.com

Here is what I have to report. They made me jump through hoops to find a withdrawal method. What they came up with is a system called "Use my wallet" which sets up an account at "Quick Tender". The book set up the account and the $ goes, somehow, from them to this Quick Tender account. They then in turn wire the funds, $30 charge, to your bank account. They will not cover any withdrawal charges using this method, but this is the only method available. Nice, eh? I opened an account at sportsbetting.com today. They say 1 free withdrawal a month which is fine by me. You guys draw your own conclusions!

There is 1 other option at sportsbook which I will be calling about Thursday. If you have 5k or more there you can do a bank wire. Sportsbook used the same processor as bodog (Zip payments), so that is why they are without a processor for now.

......

......

Yeah, I have no problem paying that fee to get at least half of my money the hell out of there. There are certain amounts of money that I am comfortable with there, right now I have way to much and will pay extra to get some out. I'll make the fee back by scalping some anyways.

I understand. How they let it come to this concerns me. Like they do in Florida; when a hurricane is coming, you board up the storeronts. They seen this coming and sat on their hands. No contingency plans it seems. It's too bad. They have lots of betting opportunities with boxing but they run their business like amatures.

Money coming in on Cloud big-time. Back up to -350; +250 back. Wish I, or anyone, really knew a lot about these guys. A +250 dog would be real nice this week.

the man gives Fernandez a great shot against Ali Baba, immediately taking him at +450 and posting it.

Thought id let you guys know, the line has been dropping steadily. I just caught +375, now its +325.

i prefer oubaali in this fight tonight. I thought his fight with theophane was a war, and i have a bit of respect for theophane.

i'm glad the line is low enough to grab now.

but i certainly understand the fernandez support. he is the naturally bigger guy and a tough customer (it seems).

still my pick is oubaali.

good luck to all.
