nate picked margarito to win. his boxing knowledge is very high, if anyone happens to catch his predictions, please post it! another strong predictor is roy jones and sometimes enzo calzaghe

congrast armageto, i was checking the other forum for the weekly betting thread earlier today and didnt see it. i see now that you did create it and posted zuri before the fight, if i saw that on time i wouldve looked more into sos before the play, youre a strong capper. nice job.

Special thx to "the man" for bringing the odds on Ali down to -175. Of course it's after the fact but that was an "easy" 250.00

Perhaps I'm wrong..I was watching glimpses of the fight from work and it appeared to me ali was dominating the action...Ill take the dough either way. Point being, Evan brought the odds down to a very reasonable and good value price.

hernandez put up strong resistance for a +400 guy, or +700 if you got it on time like weepaul. the first few rounds especially.

i agree, his pick definitely favoured us, i got ali at -195 in an awesome scalp as a result. ive gotten into the habit of taking his picks at a higher wager that i normally would, the line nearly always moves to create a hedge or at worst an even buy-back if you change your mind.

congrats on the win.

Thanks, sorry that you lost some on the Polish bum. My friend knows Nate, so if he ever makes a pick and I find out about it, I'll let you know. Thanks for checking out the betting of the week as well......:00hour

I would have made it earlier, but I was stuck at work. I know Zuri was in sparring some with Nagy, so he should have been in at least ok shape.

Nate is an awesome boxing character, tell him to keep on trucking! I love to watch him fight and I still laugh when reminded of Nate posting on boxing forums days before his bout with Juan Diaz. After his career is over he should stay in the sport as a commentator or writer.

I'd appreciate if you did relay your friend's comments from or about Nate, he's very clear-headed and unbiased in his appraisals, I get the feeling he's realistic about his own abilities and gameplan as well. If he listens to his own advice, he should be well prepared for Guzman's style. I'll be checking both forums regularly, so if you post on either I'll catch it.

That little Ali is a Fukin workhorse. I thought he would slow down in the middle of the fight but he was like the energizer bunny.

I am surprised nobody is talking about the complete hose job on the under for this fight.
Over/under was 7 1/2 rounds and the ref jumped in to stop the fight in round 7 but changed his mind.
This allowed Fern to go past 1 1/2 minutes of round 8. Just enough to Fuk the under and give a gift from the heavens for the over.

At least he did not DQ Ali like Mr Cortez would have found an excuse to.

Cloud WPTS +236 / +205
Gonzalez has never been stopped, Cloud can box quite a bit, so this wont necessarily be a slugfest, and the fight is in Cloud's hometown...

There isnt much else out there...

to noone's surprise, the man is playing the dog.

graham houston gives gonzalez a real shot as well, saying if can make it out of the early rounds he can wear down cloud.

the man's pick made the lines fall way down, im playing cloud at -209 under the assumption ill get gonzalez +240 or higher by fight time.

thats quite a little gamble...

I can see why the man picks him at +245, there are really a lot intangibles about cloud...

I dont know.

I took cloud @-200. Admittedly I don't know much about the guy but Gonzalez isn't the hardest guy in the business to figure out. He'll be there in front of the bigger puncher and cloud has some decnt boxing ability when he needs to box. This should be a good one but my money is on cloud.

My money on Cloud as well. Cloud could be something special, he looks like a real deal now. Not many fighters can beat all competition so dominantly as he did and look so invincible. Initialy odds were bad but now it is ok.
I will be surprised if Gonzalez wins. Don't understand why so many respectful handicapters giving real chance to Gonzalez.

"the bunker"
he likes it inside from what i`ve seen on utube.....he knows what he`s doing...

i can see him possibly breaking the old man down.......the under 9.5 is even money.....

i`m not that brave....yet...

be interesting to see what happens if the pace is fairly fast and gonzales doesn`t go anywhere...

Cloud is a KO artist with limited exposure to "A" level talent. He is 4" shorter than Gonzalez, who at 32, has been in with some very decent competition. So what's Cloud to do? He will most likely try and bum rush Gonzalez as; he has not been in deeper waters, and I expect Gonzalez to weather the storm and take him there. If that were to be the case, then it gets VERY interesting. Bottom line; if Cloud doesn't get Gonzalez out of there early, I'd say he is in unchartered waters not ever having fought past 5, let alone 12 rounds. I think I will add to my position with Gonzalez as I see some value there. Also the round prop is lined at 9.5, which of course is 1:30 of the TENTH round. So I guess they must be giving $$$ away here, no? I mean, Cloud puts everyone to sleep, so the under seems very strong. But the oddsmakers apparently see this one NOT ending that early. If it goes past ten, I give the edge to Gonzalez.
