I think you have it mistaken with another fight. Pov recently fought an exhibition and there was another one just a few weeks ago but I'm sure it wasn't Mora. Too much on the line with Mos for him to have taken an exhibition. I'm not a fan of "The Latin Snake" BUT he could possibly be getting Mos at just the right time.

I think it was 1 or 2 years ago, so recently was not the right word, I could be completely wrong however...maybe I'm just mixing him up!

BTW, I agree, Mosley looks beatable, and Mora proved against Forrest that he is not to be underestimated!

Bantamweight contenders Jose Navarro (27-5, 12 KOs) and Nestor Rocha (22-2, 8 KOs) will lace up their gloves in a unique outdoor boxing arena adjacent to L.A. LIVE?s STAPLES Center in downtown Los Angeles located near the corner of 11th Street and Figueroa Street on Friday, September 17, for an eight round bout that headlines Telefutura?s weekly boxing telecast. Also in action will be highly-touted lightweight prospect Luis Ramos Jr. (16-0, 8 KOs), who faces former world champion Eric Aiken (16-7-1, 12 KOs)in an eight round co-main event.

According to ESPN.com:

There has been confusion over the broadcast schedule for Edin Dapudong-Wilbert Uicab flyweight bout in Cancun, Mexico on Friday in celebration of Mexican Independence Day. ESPN3.com will carry the fight, and undercard bouts, live beginning at 8:30 p.m. ET. ESPN Deportes will carry taped coverage at 2 p.m. ET on Saturday.

According to Frank Warren's website, the 7 live fights for the SKY PPV are:

Matthew Hall (23-2) vs. Lukas Konecny (44-3)
Matthew Macklin (26-2) vs. Shalva Jomardashvili (27-2)
Nathan Cleverly (19-0) vs. Karo Murat (22-0)
Enzo Maccarinelli (32-4) vs. Alexander Frenkel (22-0)
Kell Brook (21-0) vs. Michael Jennings (36-2)
Derek Chisora (13-0) vs. Sam Sexton (13-1)
James DeGale (7-0) vs. Carl Dilks (14-2)

So the Gavin-Kelly bout and the Broadburst-Ali bout will either be shown delayed (if there is extra broadcast time), or not at all.

Mwelase vs. N'Dou

Mwelase vs. N'Dou

from bad left hook:

Slim Mwelase has big chance | Times LIVE

A fight flying way under the radar but that could be a pretty decent one is this weekend's match between Bongani Mwelase and Lovemore N'Dou. Mwelase is over six feet tall and attempting to make the welterweight limit. Last time he tried to make the weight, he missed. A subplot this time is that if he misses weight, he will need to forfeit 40% of his purse, higher than the usual 25%. Evidently, the fight WILL indeed be televised, on channel SS7 at 7:45 p.m. local time in South Africa.

Hurricane Heavy

Hurricane Heavy

Former Miami Hurricane star running back Quadrine Hill?s pro boxing career just went national, when fight promoter Roy Englebrecht announced today that Hill?s four round bout with Yohan Banks will be part of the DirecTV & Dish Network Pay Per View portion of his Viva Mexico at Las Vegas championship boxing show, Wednesday, September 15th from the Hilton Theater in the Las Vegas Hilton. And not to miss a great promotional opportunity, Englebrecht has matched Hill up against another Division I football star, former defensive lineman for San Jose State Yohan Banks.

hmmm

escalante couldnt get cornelius lock out and ponce de leon is one tough s.o.b

escalante's one punch power is not juanma level and hopefully ponce's technique is a little tighter by now

im thinking escalante by dec and ponce straight up

in two separate parlays, get plus money on both sides, hopefully one would hit
