Lot's of differing action on the Frenkel-Maccaranelli fight. I've watched the line on one book jump around from Macca at -140 to +140, and everywhere in between. Currently at Frenkel -150, Macca +110. Looks like a pretty even match-up.

RESULT
Anthony Mundine KO10 Ryan Waters

First knockout for Mundine in forever

Hope we see lines on the Gonzales vs. Asiku and Harris vs. Roman fights tonight. Those are two good bettable fights.

Interesting little news flash on Fightnews. They say Wlad would like to fight again before the end of the year, and are trying to determine his next opponent. The mix of contenders for this shot are as follows:

Tomasz Adamek
Odlanier Solis
Dennis Boytsov
David Tua
Tony Thompson
Alexander Dimitrenko

Who do you guys think should get the shot? My vote goes to Odlanier Solis, although he really hasn't done much to deserve it. Assuming Adamek wants another fight before this one, I'd have to say a rematch with Thompson is the next most deserving. That would be a tough sell though. Tua, give me a break. Boytsov?

BUT -- de leon barley beat lock while Escalante totally outclassed him.

Almost every book out there has lines for the big UK event on Satuday, yet sportsbook has nothing.

they sure take forever.

I am fan of Wlad so I do not want to see him lose. The only guy who have a chance against Wlad is Solis IMO.

Solis or Boystov are the ONLY viable contenders as far as I'm concerned. Dim was nearly stopped by Chambers. Tua was OUT on his feet v Barret and no way in hell deserves a crack. Thompson didn't put up much of a fight the 1st go and he's slipped a tad IMO. Adamak is fighting Madalone and I think Klit would essentially end the Poles days of fighting at hvy. Props to Klit for staying busy.

Doesn't look like we're gonna get lines on the fights tonight. Too bad. If these were weekend scraps both would have probably been on the board.

For the record, if Asiku would've been a reasonable dog, say +200, I probably would've taken a small shot on him. He's relatively untested, but did have a sort of breakout performance against H. Ruiz, when he totally dominated him - the same guy that went to a split with Molitor recently. Gonzales' chin will always be suspect, and that makes him vulnerable against any legit guy.

I also would've probably taken a small shot with Roman if the odds were close. Roman is crude but very tough. Harris maybe can box his way to a win, but he just seems shopworn. I can see Roman wearing him down as the fight goes on.

Roman KO5 Harris.

Roman all over him from start to finish. Roman is getting better and better, and Harris is all done.

I would have taken Gonzo @ close odds. He did kill me v Penalosa and the Japanese guy. He has good form but lapses in defense but he's beaten some good fighters. @ wide odds, I'd have left it alone. We'll c what happens tonight.

Well you would have won with Roman, a wicked liver shot had Harris giving up... Gonzalez and Asiku in the ring...Asiku sporting lthe Mohawk, have a feeling this one's gonna be compelling

Excellent 1st round.... Asiku looking strong , coming forward, Jhonny had to land some heavy bombs to back him off. Jhonny gonna have to be sharp

I've got it 2-0 Asiku. Dude does not stop punching. He steadied Gonzo in both rounds. Gonzo landing his shots too, but having trouble holding the pace. We'll see if Asiku slows.

What a second round. Jhonny has to throw bombs to keep this agressor off, had Asiku shaky for a bit but then, Asiku brings it , slams the body and Jhonny is forced to unload again. Asiku is coming for the knockout and knows to whack the body

All out war, Jhonny's in tough and landed some shots that would have but others down. Asiku strong, doing some good body work. This fight makes the 25 I dished out worth it. Not going 12
