Alright fellas
this weekend starts a month of great fights
what do we think?

Any picks for the German card?

I'm finding that one tough

G. Jones and Zuniga both great fighters and tempting dogs, but in Germany tough to play either big

I'm taking a shot on Salcido against Escobedo Friday night
and
How bout this for a random fight - Howard Eastman vs. Six Heads Lewis in Guyana Saturday.

Six Heads is +250 is his hometown....Eastman gives away fights a lot, but he has obviously fought much better competition...a shot old guy vs. a guy with no chin....hmmmm....

i saw that guillermo jones opened at even money....so i waited....now it`s +160.......that`ll have to be good enough......

i`ve always liked jones, even though he`s had a strange career....

the venue`s an issue....but that`s life..

arslan`s been on a roll..and he`s a strong guy...but he`s a tad limited....and he`s older than jones...

i gotta take a shot with jones at +160...

thats a damned solid card in the hinterlands this weekend...

Actually this seems to be one of the best cards in Germany ever...
Inkin vs. Zuniga, Virchis vs. Gomez and Arslan vs. Jones look to be three very competetive fights.

Jones vs. Arslan figures to be an interesting fight, I guess it all depends on jones and in what kind of shape he is.
We certainly know what to expect from Arslan,...btw, if Jones looks to be in ok shape, this fight looks to go some rounds.

I'm on Salcisdo too, if anybody has some deeper insight into this fight!?

Six Heads may be worth a shot, but he hant fought in over a year....

Williams over 8.5 +180, this line is too hight for my liking, but then again I dont know too much about Kolle and Williams at 160 will be an enigma.

I got Akaba @+350 against Ricky Burns, Burns has fougth extremely soft opposition and when he stepped up in class he lost wide on points.

I also got Berto @-500, I dont like to lay the chalk but it will be hard for Forbes to win this fight.

i was gonna bet the under in williams/kolle at + money regardless of the weight early on.......but the clip i saw of kolle vs vanda showed a guy with decent mechanics and technical skill...he throws straight punches and seems to do some good things.......

not to bad for a midwestern fighter...he hung with andre ward(he`s obviously not in ward`s league but he hung in until a headbutt closed his eye)..

now the over 7.5 is +money...hmmmm?

probably not betting this over or under......but the guy is 6`1...and he`s also a lefty...

Fightwriter makes over 7.5 sound like a solid bet. Jones sounds good as well, im not a Euro guy, but many Euro smarts are giving him a good shot.

Based on boxrec, Lewis +300 doesn't look so bad. they've both been through epic, historical battles with the Great Denny Dalton. Lewis seems to have done better among the two.

Lewis has been less active, but has also seemingly taken less punishment as of late. I might take a shot at him +300. This is boxrec only, so small.

Jesus I would LOVE Berto for -500. Where did you get that price? weeks ago I imagine. He's 800 to 1000 eveywhere I see.

Frank your parlay looks nice.

I'm also small on the Williams over.

-I took the over on williams...took that one too soon and was basically going off of Grahams comments. That line moved to nice + odds after I placed the wager. Not confident to put anymore down on it.

-I have Berto for a pretty heavy amt- 675. Where did you see -500???

-I also have Gomez -190. I like the boxing skills over size and power here.

Berto is currently -600 at stan james, much better than ive seen elsewhere, there are places with Forbes +650 already.

That's a safe bet imo.

NJ Berto KO +240? Also at Stan James or elsewhere? wow that's nice.

Did you guys see Arreola weighed in at 258 for tonight?

Yikes. 5 bucks for me on King Kong Garcia.

What the hell is Arreola thinking?

ghost, it's at bet365. I like them for outcomes especially, but they will cut your limits if you start winning big.

Yikes indeed on Arreola. Garcia doesn't sound like much, but he should put up a strong fight. His record is full of cab drivers, but it also means he hasn't taken any punishment. Maybe he goes the rounds?

edit - zerwas has it covered.

I thought Evan playing Salcido would significantly worsen the line, it hasn't.

Berto was available at-500 at bwin, or gamebookers.
I suppose he might even stop Forbes late...or the ref might feel inclined to intervene...

Arreola is too heavy, maybe there is a chance of an upset or King King may go a few rounds....

Evan just posted some new picks:
Clark for tow unit at +130
Salciod for 1.5 units at +250
Virchis for 2.5 units at +165

I was pretty sure that he would be on Salcido, Virchis for 2,5 units was a little surprise to me...

geez that's a large amount of units on virchis

i see that as a close fight...gomez could easily win a decision in that one

i don't know

agree with him on salcido though

but I think kimbrough will beat clark in west viriginia...kimbrough the house fighter

clark`s naturally a little bigger than kimbrough.....but,those odds don`t thrill me.....

i think it could go either way...

i`m willing to throw a little away on salcido....watched him on youtube and he`s flashy with the hands low.....he looked fairly quick...
