Shit I was counting that cash. Salcido was schooling him and put his damn hands down.

Left hook.

Goodnight.

I lose money. Ugh.

I'm sick to my stomach.

I feel like I had the right guy.

But that's boxing.

Escobedo stinks.

the previous round was a huge salcido round....it actually looked like escobedo was getting discouraged....at one point, salcido just stood in front of escobedo and peppered him with around 5-6 shots and escobedo had no answer...

i walked over to the computer, walked back and it was over...

he got to cocky...

what a disappointing evening...cocky-ass salcido

can't dwell on these things...squash those sour grapes!

After a lot of research and deliberation, my Saturday looks like this.

LARGE on Berto ITD...I see this like a lot of you...I don't think Stevie can hold of the young horse

LARGE on Alekseev under 8.5 (I think he will dust Calloway)....this kid is the goods

MEDIUM J.C. Gomez...i think he can take a UD over Virchis

MEDIUM Over 9.5 rounds Arslan-G. Jones
and SMALL on Jones to pull the upset in Germany

SMALL on Zuniga

SMALL on Shane ITD (Shane will win for sure, I just can't figure out how he does it...so small for me)

Good luck to all...tonight is another reminder of why boxing is so great...one punch can change it all

Mayorga is no kid, either and lives a much "harder' life.

Salcido was up 4 rounds to 1 on 2 scorecards before that fight changing left hook. I, too, thought that was in the bag. That's boxing.

mosley ko rds 10 to 12 (big), hedged by mosley rds 7 to 9 and by decision
Mosley has trouble with bigger fighters ( jose luis cruz, wright) and he defends bad against right hands; Mayo WILL land on him.;

Virchis to ko Gomez parlayed with Alexeev under medium ( +5.52), hedged by Gomey on points
(Gomez is a junkie and can't take a punch; i say he ****s up in this one)

huge parlay with alexeev under, mosley and berto fights to go 7 rounds (+1.1)

Can't make up my mind about Jones Arslan.
Berto faces a real test.

Good luck to all :toast:

I like Virchis he is the home fighter and looks lean and mean and Gomez at his highest weight. promoter Kohl has personal interest that Gomez loses. Virchis is alive even on points with kohl in the background. Kohl hates ?ner who Gomez fights for. Virchis by late round stoppage or dec robbery.
Alekseev under should be a winner too good chance that this one doesnt go to 4.
Jones seems to be a nice bet against Arslan but Arslan is tough and has great stamina.
Inkin vs Zuniga. i Like Inkin on points in this on.

Good luck to everybody.

I dont know for some reason things arent going my way in the last couple of weeks....obviously my picks arent always going to hit, but it really hurts to lose on somebody like Salcido who apparently has the goods but finds a way to blow it...

GOMEZ WINS A UD

YES!

per fight news:

Juan Carlos Gomez is the new no. 1 contender on the WBC heavyweight champion title. "The Black Panther" clearly outboxed Vladimir Virchis at the Color Line Arena in Hamburg knocking down "The Hunter" in the fifth to take home a unanimous decision win.

Back in the game baby !
