"the bunker"
(Brian Viloria @ +135)
I hate to say this, but I feel that I'm ever so slightly picking w/ my heart here. Getting that out of the way, Miranda is a power puncher who takes some to give one. Curiously, he likes to switch to southpaw midfight, where he often gets hit more. Viloria is no longer weight drained w/ this fight being for the WBO 112, while Miranda actually had to lose 2 lbs in 3 hrs the day of the weigh in. Purely from a boxing standpoint, it's Viloria's fight to lose, but Viloria loves to mix it up and please the fans, which is how he ended up losing to Carlos Tamara. Also, since we are currently on the hot topic of judging, one of the three has only been doing it for two years, and this will be his first championship bout.

first off, viloria is a money burner,imo....especially as a prohibitive fave.....

but this is in hawaii....and he`s not the fave....

might be worth a small wager,if he fights smart....he`s probablty the superior technician.....

small play(against mt better judgement)...let`s see if viloria has one more big effort in him...

i only watched a few rounds of bellew/mckenzie...but the rounds that i saw weren`t the blow outs that mcguigan and the gang made them out to be.....lots of back pedaling and defense from bellew...

and then bellew screaming at the end after that performance vs a journeyman?.....

maybe i didn`t see enough?...

This is a tough one. Viloria home and Pingo had weight issues. But vilioria, is well, Viloria. Viloria has struggled with boxers which Pingo is not but I think Pingo is the harder punching and tougher man and that Viloria is usually there to be hit. Slight lean to Pingo.

YESSSSSSSSS!!
Well done Bro :0074 :toast:

Don't mind losing legit. Murray got thumped. The smaller man, coming off a virus, ring rust, a bad KO defeat and drugs charges takes the guy who has supposed to have an endless engine into deep waters and drowns him.

Gavin fighting like shit and going the distance cost me my parlay and in the only fight I chose not to bet, Purdy stops Watson in 5 rounds again at +200.

I am betting on Viloria tonight at +130. I think moving up in weight will help him. It must have taken a bit out of Miranda to lose 2 pounds at their size.
The fight is in hawaii and Viloria is nicknamed "The hawaiin Punch" for Fuck sake.

I lose this, I am out until Mares vs Agbeko.

Good luck all. :toast:

I like Mares. I have back issues, as does Agbeko. Be advised, they NEVER really go away. And boxing is a brutal sport to be in with back problems. We get this one paulie.

Rookie judge for Viloria/Miranda

Rookie judge for Viloria/Miranda

I posted a link earlier about the third inexperienced Filipino judge working his first world title fight. Not the case anymore as he has been pulled in favor of Tamotsu Tomihara of Japan. Also worthy of note, a second judge, Robert Byrd of Las Vegas, was pulled in favor of another Las Vegas judge, Robert Hoyle. :bump:
