I don't think it was bad judging I think it was a fix.....there is no way......none....zip...zero way Williams won that fight......he at most won 4 rounds.....at the most. I thought he won the last round and maybe the 2nd round. That was it.
He got smashed.

It was an awefull decision but that shit happens in MMA as well. Rios-Antillon was a great short fight, boxing is far from a "joke".
Nothing like that happenes in MMA.....sure there are bad decisions.......but that was a straight up fix.
That was beyond terrible....it was a fix.
The worst decision I have seen in MMA was the Hioki/Omigawa decision. The Williams decision was 100 times worse then that.
A straight up fix.
Corrupt fix....plain as day.

I have seen plenty of fights where a guy clearly losses 2 of 3 rounds in MMA and he gets the decision somehow. Hell sometimes 3 of 3 rounds. A robbery is a robbery so get out of here with that shit.

And nothing, I mean nothing I have ever seen was as bad as that shit.

I like both sports and you will never see me call either 1 of them a "joke". I have more respect to the fighters than that. Did Williams deserve to win? Absolutely not but there have been some absolutely shocking MMA decisions as well. Let's not pretend like this decision was the worst ever. I have seen worse.

What's the difference of if a guy losses 9 out of 12 rounds and gets robbed compared to a guy who losses all 3 rounds and gets robbed? Nothing really, either way the judges gave the fight to the wrong person.
BTW-The worst robbery I ever saw was when Roy Jones should have won the gold medal and was given the silver. he outlanded his opponent something like 3 or 4 to 1.

There was a Canadian boxer (O'Sullivan I think) who clearly won his semi fight but got completely fucked over. I think it was 1988 in Seoul.

Yeah any sports where you have subjective scoring can have horrible decisions. You are right about the olympics there's been a few in various sports.

It's a double negation! ;-) What I meant to say is that the judges were paid in some way and / or incompetent! Incompetence alone cannot account for such scoring!
BTW, quite recently I had macklin and mathysse by DEC as well! Its probably hard to tell which out of the Lara and the Lucas Fight was worse!
That's why I hate ALL the fucking officials from judges to ref's to commisions who allow these Fuckheads to keep jobs they don't deserve!!!
These guy's are either corrupt or completely incompetent.
Either way, they should get the fuck out of both sports.

I would honestly rather have no judges than what we have now as it would save me a fortune.
Go back to the newspaper decisions from the early to mid 1900's.
If I could, I would love to beat the shit out of them and rob them of their wallets, jewelry, watches, clothes and anything else I could think of.
