Value Play on Crawford

Teddy Atlas is Muriqi's trainer, but thats the only thing he has going for him. Name one decent fighter he has beat. Only 8 of his 27 opponents have had a winning record! Those records include 5-3, 7-4, 14-13, 7-3-4, 9-4, 16-2-3, 9-7, and 24-8-1. And he
was down four times to Sam Ahmad!

Crawford has fought Rocky Gannon, Joseph Hughes, Dana Rosenblatt, Jeff Lacy, and he went 8 rounds with Sven Ottke. Sure he lost most of those fights, but at least he knows what its like to fight real competition.

I've seen this fight at -1100/+600, not exactly a
generous line on the dog. They must be scared of
losing their ass on a Crawford upset. Why else
would the line be so screwed up?

My big play on this fight is the under. Muriqi has ko'd his last 5 opponents, and was down 4 times to Ahmad. Crawford has been ko'd 3 times in his career. I look for this to be a short fight, and since the oddsmakers put the line at 6.5 rounds, they must agree.

i think the book took a hit on that....i left it alone...not being real familiar with crawford...if that guy`s a title contender,i`m gonna start training......37-4???...what a stiff...i shoulda been on it....from iowa...that shoulda rung a bell....that guy either couldn`t,wouldn`t or didn`t know how to throw a right hand....a joke...stopped by sven ottke.......i fell asleep...

p.s...i made the worst wager of my life tonight on over in the millett-stewart fight.....i knew millett was shot....a guy i am acquainted with on the net is millett`s mgr....and he said millett was prepared to go the distance if necessary....never listen to anybody affiliated with a fighter....not a large wager...but,it hurts like a big wager because i knew better....

missed the muriqi wager and bit on the sucker bet.....i`m embarrassed...

i couldn`t post that wager because the little voice in the back of my mind kept calling me an a--hole:shrug: ....

back on the stick...enough fooling around....

Totally agree on Crawfords performance.
Believe it or not, I've seen him fight better.
Still not sold on Muriqi, like Max said Crawford
was a step UP in competition. This fight should
have been over in the 2nd round. Elvir was
missing alot more punches than he was landing.
I think he'll have problems fighting a decent
counter puncher.

I know how you feel. I also thought Millett had
one more decent fight in him. Took the live dog,
and lost some of my profits from the Muriqi under.
Oh well!

BTW, I appreciate your honesty. It takes a decent
man to post a losing bet after the fact.

What are your thoughts on tomarrow's card?

Nice job BL like i siad last week or 2 weeks ago when you 2 were going at it let's keep the good work up and not get side tracked from stupid things scott you are picking this time you are out of line, we had 2 of the same fights so what took them for different reasons and if you look at date box did have his posted a day before i had them ready but was going to put them on service but we did good enough that we were able to shut down by thur for week so i posted them here. in the fri fight i knew the guy was a stiff and that was my key different then box and sat was a no brainer any-one in their right mind that knows boxing knew this would be fast, lot of people have the same fights i had a higher line waited till it moved once and knew it would fly once started and box told you guys it would and it did i had guys ask me in emails about 6.5 at 1 book told them to take it. Box knows what he is doing i know by talking to him and GW we do this to all win no-one is taking my plays we all work together at times and GW e-mails me and we talk them over and he and box talks them over last week we were against each other tues night. so that should show you he does not need to copy from me or me from him and he posted first it is no big deal keep the off the wall nice and calm please it is the only quite place and would like to keep it that way.
