Boxing; parlay

Boxing; parlay

Play: Mayfield-240/Anwar-330. Laying odds; 4-5. Mayfield bout should go over the 8.5-205, but I don't want to risk too much exposure. If Mayfield by decision pops up, I may tap that also.

Quick post

Barring miracles, all the big fights of this weekend are untouchable for me as both Price and Kessler I've got at -1400 and Theophane at -1500

Quick play for ESPN2 FNF however on:

Karim Mayfield @ -185 vs. Ray Serrano

Small play for me, but I like Mayfield. He definitely doesn't have a crowd pleasing style, but much like his new trainer Virgil Hunter's more famous charge, he does what he does to win rounds. Dirty fighter who'll throw that lead right, smother, lean, clinch, and throw all sorts of elbows and rabbit punches in the clinch, all the while acting like he's the one trying to break the clinch. I think Serrano is too green still and won't be ready to deal with this type of fighter. Serrano has a good boxing pedigree, but can be swayed into fighting an opponents type of fight. Both are undefeated prospects, Mayfield long in the tooth however at 31, so very much a 50/50 fight on paper. Both are coming down from fighting at welterweight to light middleweight limit, but came in at 139 lbs each for this fight. Competition wise, Mayfield's domination of Steve Forbes and Patrick Lopez easily trump everybody Serrano has faced and beaten to date by miles.

He got blasted with a right hand right on the chin. Ricky Coward wanted to stop it, as it should have been, but Serrano's father wanted it to continue. The corner was in disarray and Serrano went out for a little more unnecessary punishment.

Oh hey look, Odlanier Solis is fat again, what a surprise :0003
He checked in at 267.5 pounds, making it the third highest weight in his career, oh yeah he's ready for a serious run at the Klitschkos..

I get Mayfield, the over 8, and Price inside. I am clueless as to why Kessler will win inside. Not to say he will not, just that I am not reading it.

Just have the feeling, that he will wear him down over time. The extra weight should help him, compared to Green, that is simply a litte "fatter"... my guess would be rd 9/10... :popcorn2

Btw. add plays:

Sanchez -140 (maye add over too)
Satchell +225
both straigth + the Draw ;-)

For all intents and purpose, Kessler is basically still a super middle weight. Green appears taller in the photos I have seen. Best of luck here, but I am going to pass. This one just gives me too many doubts. Unless Green is a complete out of shape head case, this one could go rounds.

I was about to say too, Kessler checked in at 169 pounds.

Yea, seems to me this is a super middle weight fight pretending to be a light heavy weight bout, for some mysterious reason. Which is another reason I am skeptical about this whole affair. Oh yea, I called 5Dimes; they still have Ajisafe on the docket and say they have no info to the contrary. Boxrec shows a different guy also. So I made a small play on Ajisafe @+175. If it gets cancelled, no big deal. I also have Adil Anwar in a parlay and he too is listed as not fighting Daws but someone else. Real sloppy book keeping.
