Briggs' head is bigger than both of Ibragimov's arms put togethor...seriously

I've got a small piece of Ibragimov by decision at +375...the Over 8.5 +100...and a parlay with Ibragimov at even money

.................................................................

Briggs head is so big I almost have to think he has the Barry Bonds Syndrome.

There is no way you knock a man out with a head the size of Briggs.

The size differance was something to see in the ring. It is really hard to gauge before the fight.

Briggs just gave up this fight. He was not even trying to trade blows and he knew he was behind on all the cards.

What was the judge who had 115-113 watching:com: Boxing is scary with judges.

Iggy got some work in but I should have known he was not going to stand and exchange with the hulking Briggs thus negating any chance of a KO.

Nice calls BOX , be nice if you would have posted them in your thread before fight time so I could check myself.

I think with Briggs performance he should never be allowed in the ring again. He did not care less about fighting, he was just there for the payday.

There were some hard shots exchanged by both fighters and there was always the chance of a KO
but they were just not going to battle in this fight.

Iggys side rightfully told him to get on the bike at the end of the fight as he was ahead on all cards.
That can sometimes come back to haunt you with dumb ass judges like they had scoring the fight.

I wonder if the woman judge scored the 115-112.

Still a chance for the big payday , but the bets negate each other. Minus the juice and the 29.95

I would be willing to bet Spongee shelled it out and now is pissed at me for hyping it so hard.:142smilie

Scotty A. i was thinking about rooting against you for your snippy reply to me but i saw Box had him so i couldn't bring myself to do it. B. I think Box is a huge fight fan and when you were hyping it i figured i would go into Box thread and see his opinion on this and maybe i was missing something here. Box didn't even mention this fight. I think he bet it because of your hype. Weasel was shaking his head like me on why this was a payperview event. I saw the last Briggs fight and it sounds like it was almost a repeat of that one. He just sits there and won't throw a punch like he is carrying the other guy. I had Box giving me the play by play. I was just wondering how much did you make with your take on the payperview sales? Maybe it can cancell out 3 dollars of the 29.99 you had to pay to watch this under achiever. If there was a fight coming up i would pay for it would be Cotto Judah. Lots of risk there tho. What Judah is gonna come to the ring. The punk who will come for the paycheck or a fighter. I wouldn't even buy the Hopkins /Winky fight. This is probably gonna be a borefest. I love both fighters. I might re think this tho because i think Winky will try to make it interesting. Its up to Hopkins to make this fight. It might be a good one who knows. Dam im flip flopping already about this fight.

BOX dont bet on anyone elses hype.

If he had put it in his thread and I had seen him on the over 8.5 I would have played that.

In the future anytime a fight is going to have big bangers and one guy is going to stay away for 5 or 5 rounds I am playing the over.

No interest in Judah fight.

Next fight for me is Klitcho vs Brewster.

I mean't i think you peaked Box's interest in the fight so he decided to take a shot at it. You almost did it to me but i will never bet a fight again unless i see both boxers in action. I never saw the Sultan character before. I learned this lesson betting the guy who wears the cowboy hat in the ring. Arce or something like that. Sometimes he rides a horse in. If i would have saw the fighter that fought him previously i would have never bet Arce. That was just ridiculous wagering on my part. I thought that guy was a great fighter and if i would have done my homework i would have bet him.

Wish I could make money betting that you will be wagering on the big Wlad chalk then parlay that on the OVER 10' :yup in the amount of pics contained in your pump up thread.

It could easily pay for a nice new tire swing on Victory lane. That for should.

They were just small bets fellas, I have alot of personal plays that I don't post here. In retrospect I should've posted the Ibrag by decision prop b/c the odds were high enough to give it value. I played that one when it opened but I played the Over and the parlay right before the fight started, just a feeling. I knew Ibrag would easily outbox and outwork the beast, but I wasn't sure Iggy's defense was good enough to not get caught. At the last minute, I went with my gut, small of course.

I'm still pissed about the Kono-Seguera fight, had the Over 9.5 and the ref stopped it in the 9th round due to cuts caused by headbutts. Oh well, its been a great run these last few months, moving on...

I swear his last name begins with an A but i can't seem to be able to get his name on my boxing site. Joel Ar-ce or something like that?

Jorge Arce

The guy is a lot of fun to watch, relentless pressure, hard punches, and absolutley no defense. His first fight with Hussein was an absolute war, and so were most of his other fights. Unfortunately we saw in his last fight that a skilled boxer can pick him apart while avoiding the big shots. Not many here in the US had seen Mijares, his only decent wins were in Japan. But I knew something was up when everyone and their dog was on Arce but the line never budged.

Btw...Spongie, I have a question for you regarding the NBA but I'm short on time right now. Check back later tonight, I found a hole in your conspiracy theory.
